I’m sorry if the vast majority of players of this game we’re competant i’d be fine with it. But why should I be forced to play with players getting 20 kills and like 13 squad wipes or be the only player with engineering points. Why do we have waste our time or else we get punished for it. Honestly I might aswell just rubberband my controller and go into the corner of a house and do other things. Like I don’t have all the time in the world and considering matches take between 10-30 mins on average.
I’d rather have AI teammates as they go on points.
Like this playerbase somehow doesn’t know the core tenants of multiplayer games, they don’t know how to cook grenades despite it being taught in like every cod of the 2000’s to early 2010’s.
They don’t know how to mark enemies despite it being taught and popularised by Battle Royales.
Like even when I mark an enemy they just ignore it. It’s crazy, i’ve never seen a playerbase so full of people like this from popular F2P and paid games.

Penalty for desertion should definitely not be removed. Finally the game is not 100% rewarding selfish people who are deliberately exploiting the desertion feature.

Bruh I leave when I know a game is completely lost. I honestly wouldn’t even mind it if the devs actually bothered to try an implement some form of equality. Like how is it fair for any player to play a match when they can just get stomped by the otherside. i’ve seen more people complain about the system and say it’s bad then people praising it. If they had instead yk implemented a bonus system to reward the players who stay i’d be alright. Instead it punishes you for having teams that you can’t carry. I assume your a PC player so you don’t have to deal with console players as much as me (I’m a compentant console player and can hold my own against PC) But I practically do everything for the team and nobody else does anything. Am I rewarded for this besides some slight XP boost? No. There were other systems but instead they went for the easiest and most poorly thought out one.
Selfish people who dont want to play certain maps, broken game modes and against unfair EVA stacks. Got it.

See the problem is I genuinely love this game but it’s playerbase can really suck the fun out of it. I’m just gonna be truthful. It feels like pulling nails when you have to be the only guy to deal with tanks, planes, build rally points and somehow being the only player in a 25 minute match to get over 1500 points. Like sometimes its fun but sometimes its really just fun sucking. Even having 1 competent player besides me makes it so much more fun. Like it’s fun carrying matches but when every match is a carry now it gets boring or stomps (If the enemy side has multiple competant players and all i have is either kids or people who get double digit squad wipes and low 20 kills)

People just AFK instead of deserting now, so you end up with the same amount of people actually playing the OBJ in a match.

I mean, people still desert and you still lose matches against sweaters on maps and modes you hate, but you feel better knowing that KickAss69 gets a penalty I guess, assuming you still remember them after five minutes.

Quite selfish outcome from people that needs others to carry them.
I had a console player today getting 8 kills and dying with 23 squads 
→ he also played with his TS-60 in BR V against our Kingtigers xD
→ funny thing he also had the nickname decorator for three-year login cycle, so he wasn’t a new player (but still don’t know how the BR system works)

The map picking option should be here and bug fixes and then the desertion penalty can stay but even this is bad because game should reward players who are not quitting instead of giving penalty to deserters i saw some players just being afk and doing nothing to just dont get penalty and this is bad. Also if new player get bad map (because this voting system doesnt really work) he cant just leave cuz he needs xp for weapons and he doesnt want penalty.

But people still desert as much as before, especially in high br because of a maxxed out TT. You need to realize people play games for fun, if they get a shit map or shit team, they won’t have fun. I leave the maps I like because I want to have fun when I play. Without map picking, people are still gonna leave regardless of penalty. The new system was a step in the right direction but it still fails to properly address the real issue.
