Missions should be something that should encourage teamplay and playing for objectives and should be doable as solo player. Playing stupidly shouldnt be actively encouraged with daily missions.
Lets list some example of good missions:
capture x strategic zones
build engineering structures
complete battle (cause of ppl quitting)
get x amount of kills
spend x amount of time in battle
kill enemy vehicles (without distinction of tank/aircraft)
list of bad missions:
kill x enemies with pistol (ffs you shouldnt encourage sidearm as main gun)
kill x amount of aircraft (this is specially stupid in this event cause in 3 battles i have encountered 0 enemies aircraft that were in air longer than amount of time needed for suicide bombing, also encourages player to spend time in air as fighter even if there arent any enemy planes)
kill x enemies with specific gun (forces you to change your loadout and sometimes it isnt doable for newbies, maybe adjust it for current selected loadout)
play x amount of battles as y side on z campaign (cause it forces you to play campaign you maybe dont want to play)
overall some missions have to go… such as aircraft one and pistol one. they are ok for long term achievement, but not as daily missions.
it is bad cause you shouldnt promote sidearms as main arms. even melee kills (and they are also bad) are better cause at least it forces you in CQC and that is usually in cap. pistols are situational and every other main weapon is better in 95% of situations. not to mention not many soldiers have sidearms
even without “broken planes” it is terrible mission. it banks on other team actually fielding planes for you to kill them. missions should be achievable in few battles and not for people to grind them all day hoping that enemy will field planes.
what if newbie who just started the game gets kill x enemies with artillery fire/flamethrower/machine guns/semi auto? also why should i need to put specific squads that i am not grinding/using currently jsut for this mission. i would rather have get 500 kills than get 50 kills with specific weapon…
He got a point though that you might simply have a tough luck your enemy not playing aircrafts. I even had missions when nobody played tank for example.
now i wanted to clear the aircraft mission and now my ally occupied fighter slot. and i even switched to allies cause i saw nobody was fielding them earlier… unlike ground, there are too many limiting factors for killing aircraft. and it is very hard to kill planes with AAA gun even if they are in the air…
You see it forces people to hop from game to game rather than being able to enjoy matches. For example today on a win a game in Normandy task I had half an hour battle because there was some struggle(enemy managed to spend run the 2nd point) but I like that company so I stayed and played for the win but i would prolly leave if it was a campaign I am not interested to play.
I would disagree although it might be tough in some campaigns.
Or they start to “fix” this said “issue” and for next 6months theres no missions at all. After that they get the missions working again that requires only your credit card info and finding fairy.
Eventually they get it right, but with minor flaws such as claiming reward of done mission might set your pc / console on fire.

This doesn’t fix the problem, your are only escaping from the problem, it is only a temporary solution.
Why are you objecting to fix this problem entirely? We need the problem to be solve , not a temporary solution.
Fixing one mission type don’t interrupt with doing other mission type. By your logic dev shouldn’t fix anything because it will always have minor flaw and set pc on fire.
