Remove damage reduction from cosmetics

Cosmetics, as the name suggests, should have only visual effect and shouldn’t have other impact on the gameplay.

14.7 dmg is needed to match soviet 13.5 dmg of bullet

Again, I’ll say it again. I think they’d rather give cuirasses to all nations to customize than remove that bonus from the Soviets. Especially since the editor already has armor for all nations. And Japan already got some cuirasses in premium squad, only in premium for now. But the key here is FOR NOW

here is the body armour effect on tech tree BR5 assaulter and infantry weapons

its clearly a real balance issue. Cosmetics should simply not effect damage.

This is what’s is waiting us. This is our future, most likely. On the right are Japanese, American and German body armor. Yes, Japanese body armor is still only in the premium squad, but again, the key word is FOR NOW

I’m not sure I like the idea of all factions having damage reduction cosmetics… it means another advantage for us, veterans, over newcomers.
Since we can all outfit our br1 soldiers with armour using our thousands of accumulated cosmetic cards…

Well, I guess the developers don’t think so. I don’t know if that’s unfortunate or fortunate.

No.

I know…

It is out of our hands…

Developers things with dollars inside their heads and that newbies can just buy them with real $$$

I don’t know…
Can you even buy cosmetic cards? I never looked, I have thousands of them, waiting for the system to be better…

Yes with gold

That’s very pricy for a single unit usable in a single war theater…

Putting them at BR4 is the best example of the soviet bias. So now they have AR cosplaying as MG that is vastly superior to STG44 and taken to BR4 for no reason just because it has smaller magazine than some other mgs :clown_face:.

actually 15. 15x0.9=13.5

13.5 x 1.1 = 14.85. It’s not rounded up to 15

image so i was also kinda wrong with that 14.7 hp :unamused:

it is 10% reduction, not 10% increase in damage required.

so explain that chart provided by @Valkay

math calculation error. body armor provides 10% reduction in damage.
x - 0.1x=13.5
0.9x=13.5
x=13.5/0.9
x=15
