Make cosmetics that affect the gameplay an item

Cosmetics like helmets, armor or other that have not only visual, but also other impact on the gameplay should be changed from being a cosmetic to being an item with assigned BR. Cosmetics are for visual purposes only.
I think one of those 4 slots could serve such purpose:

Cosmetics, as the name suggests, should have only visual effect and shouldn’t have other impact on the gameplay. Alternative solution:
