This is a major issue for BR2 players, please remove the ability for the matchmaker to put BR1 and BR2 with BR3 in a match.

Can’t T28’s 76MM penetrate size 4?
T28 only has shrapnel shells with about 30mm pen so no
T50 is better at dealing with Pz.IV Js

The E variant can go through turret normal T28 has shrapnel round which has less than 45 pen

You know what an AT Rifle is? Or an explosion pack? Or TNT? Or AT Mine? Or, the best option, a bomb?
Using a tank to kill a tank is the least reliable method in the whole game

you also missing the point, Br2 equipped teams, may be paired with br3 weapons equipped opposing teams, massive disadvantage. a Winchester is useless against a Axis Geweher 41

Then the BR III players on your team need to step up and put more work in. There should be a mix on both sides. That’s how it works. It isn’t solid I-II on one team and solid III on the other. I, and anyone else, can’t help if your teammates suck. My only advice is to move up to BR III and own lobbies yourself, if that’s possible

Few things can. Panzerfaust 60, Panzerfaust 100, PIAT, and M9 are the only things I know can reliably pen the front of Pz IV’s. The M1 may be able to. The AT Rifles? Gotta aim where the armor is thinnest to have a chance. Either between the treads and aim for ammo or ride the bull and rapid fire into the tank from above
Take your gun, aim at the enemy, and fire
If you’re that worried about enemy armor then bring a plane. Nothing beats a bomb

Nah duh your AT Rifle can’t pen the front armor. It’s an AT Rifle. Thing was designed for WWI tanks that was a bunch of sheet metal strapped to a tractor. You have to AIM FOR WEAKSPOTS WHERE THE ARMOR IS THINNEST

And I’m telling you II at bare minimum can do perfectly fine against III. This is your learning curve. Ain’t that hard to figure out how to play the game and do competently well against “superior” players
PZIV tanks with long barrels are all BR3.
Their opponents should be T34 and KV-1
You can go to the training ground and use it to test KV-1 and PZIV.
You’ll understand why German players are in so much pain.
When you use the KV-1, you will find that all German tanks below BR3 only need one shot. (And from the front)
Maybe you can tell us how you felt when shooting the KV-1 with a German tank.
There are few parts in the front where you can do sufficient damage to crew or components.
Of course this depends on the tank but the OP specifically said P lV, which has good armour.
Aiming with an Anti-tank rifle can also be difficult for new players. Anti-tank rifles are really only effective against the sides of tanks. And while bombs are incredibly effective against tanks, you must hit the tank or get close to destroy it. But their main concern is the fact that panzer fours are able to fight low tier tanks that can do little to stop them, much like america’s situation, but in low tier.
Yes, panzer fours can struggle against the tanks they fight which are at their BR, however the OP specifically mentioned downtiering.

I agree that much of low tiers suffering is based on skill rather than on equipment, unless it comes to certain vehicles (Sherman 105,p38,t-34, etc.).
