We should replace the German tech tree ofenrohrs with the 54/1 variant. Give it functional face shield (block carbine/pistol rounds), flatten it’s trajectory even more (maybe up to 100 meters), and finally move it to BR V?

No, don’t replace the original. Folder the shielded variant with it. Then add the 54/1 as a new line

Added to this is its 230mm penetration, surpassing the Panzerfaust 100 by 10mm.

It supposed to be protection against gas = no gasmask. It wasn’t intended as protection against pistol calibers.

we have armors made of tincans that effectively decreases rifle rounds dmg.
I find this shield request quite reasonable.
