Both the “Flamethrower portable No.2 Mk 1” and “Lanciafiamme Mod.35” share identical stats with the other BR4 flamethrowers of their respected Faction (Flammenwerfer 41 for Germany and M2 Flamethrower for US).
I do not think it is reasonable to keep these flamethrower squads at BR5 just because they have two additional flamethrower soldiers attached to their squads. Some players already run 2 flamethrower TT squads (or more if legacy players) to achieve the same effect.
In conclusion there is no justifiable way I can conceive of to keep these premiums in their current BRs. Thank you for reading.
I disagree with that line of thought. That would be the same as saying the LMG premiums should be higher BRs because they have 4 LMG soldiers instead of 3. Which if you ask me, having 4 instead of 3 LMG soldiers is significantly stronger than 2 extra flamethrower soldiers. BR should be determined by the weapon itself, not the squad as a whole.
I do not agree with the people claiming 4 Flamers make it good enough for BR5
Flamethrowers are notoriously weak, and the soldiers themselves cant take ammo/grenade bags
The squads are also 6 in size instead of the 7 a normal flame squad can get
These squads also cannot bring a radio operator

We can have 6 man Type Hei LMG paras in BR4 with one of the best guns in BR5, downtiered for no reason, and that is okay
We can have 6 man Federov Avtomat squad in BR4 with one of the best guns in BR5, downtiered for no reason, and this is again okay? I think we’ll survive with allowing these flamethrowers (which are pretty bad after nerfs, almost useless) to be BR4.
The squads got removed from sale with the merge.
So those who bought them before the merge happend have them but everyone else is out of luck should they want them.
well it wouldnt matter since br4 is nonexistent it will still being uptiered to br 5 lol
and if you got extremelly lucky to get into br 3 it wouldnt make a big difference rather than being a funny squad to play (same as paras with flammetrowers) btw that squad as far i know dont get its 6 flammetrowers on high br only 2 idk if this bug still present or not…
People keep bringing it up again and again but but if BR 4 was properly equiped the gap between BR 4 and 5 would matter less and BR 4 could actually start to matter as its own BR.
Also BR 3-4 Matches do exist…

As long as premium squad can be downtiered they will always be “pay to win” by that logic.
