RE 2000 Love

I do like this plane, but… as it has no bombs it’s somethign of a Hanger quuen.

There was a version produced with a small bomb dispenser; a lot of Italian planes actually had such systems:

Re.2000 (GA) Serie III
Long-range fighter, 12 built. Serie III had redesigned cockpit, increased fuel capacity and option of a 170 L auxiliary fuel tank or a dispenser of 22 2 kg bomblets.

Many of these systems were internal, in the case of the Re 2000 I am uncertain if this was the case.

This would make for an interesting anti infantry and light vehicle, cluster munition system in game and be unique.

Those bombs are way too small to be effective in this game, but you are in luck!

They would work on Infantry, as an area effect weapon, and soft skinned vehicles, 2 pounds is way bigger than a grenade, a German stick grenade has only 6 ounces of explosive in it for comparison’s sake, it would give some kind of tier one functionality. The idea is there dropped in mass over an area, like a cluster munition.

Way back when… they were talking about making Italy and the British there own faction, hopefully they do so.

I also really want to see a CR 42 with Bombs added, I have no idea why non of them in War Thunder have bombs.

I also would love to see France as a separate faction.

Hungary might be nice as an Axis Minior faction, maybe with Bulgaria and Romania.

There’s also other reggiane series such as Re. 2001, Re. 2002, and Re. 2005 that can be equipped with 2x100kg + 1x250kg

I would like more Italian kit for sure, I just tend to play Tier I-II mostly and I am looking for new toys to try out, that would fit in that category.
