Your rank should not be tied to what your entire team does.

I have been hovering between 1st and 2nd Lt. since the last rollover.
I was at 1st Lt, played like 4 flawless games in a row, lost minimal squads, yet I end up back at Sgt Major because my team lost?

It’s not my fault my teammates were mostly running around like chickens with their heads cut off!
It’s really hard for the allies to win in BR5 for some reason.
It’s not the weapons.

Everyone is off on their own trying to be a hero, but are scoring zero.
There is strength in numbers, you gotta stick together and watch each others backs on the battlefront.

If you see one of your tanks or other vehicles, PROTECT THAT MF’r!!!
Don’t just run off.

Rank system sucks in enlisted.
It doesn’t encourage if you go out and kick ass and lose rank.

If the chat worked you could take control of people who seem to have no direction other than running in circles trying to kill the enemy while the enemy kills us all.

P.S. Gaigen owes me at least 400 gold that I won, but they never ponied up. I mentioned it a few times and hear nothing but crickets chirping.

I dont understand why no acknowledgement, payment or an explanation that I’m mistaken. I know what I saw.

Well your first problem is giving a flying flip about rankings. Ignore them. They mean nothing and give practically nothing unless you’re like me and really like Patton’s profile picture
Your SECOND problem is this right here. Do not play the Allies expecting to win matches. You will not be winning matches.

only reason why ranks mattered was cause they were tied with gold order(worst one amongst them). now that they removed it, ranks really dont matter at all cause they neither influence MM, nor they give you any valuable rewards.

I do not understand the Allied mindset. It’s one thing to not be a good shot or have the best kit, that is frustrating but nonetheless something that I can work with.

But the problem I keep seeing is a team that is completely ignorant of fighting. Not only do they blatantly refuse all advice but they literally RUN AWAY whenever they’re being shot at. Who tf does that shit?! You HAVE A GUN TOO!! JUST SHOOT BACK!

Allies have some of the best weapons in every category in most BR’s
The player base is the literal lowest common denominator. It’s insane just how bad the entire Allies player base is. I want to rip my hair out sometimes because of how terrible my teammates are. I can’t win a match solo. I NEED teammates to help keep the enemy dead and take objective with me. Otherwise I get overwhelmed and nothing can be done

“Lost minimal squads” probably means you are anywhere but near the objective.
You are losing your team games. 2 or 3 people “losing minimal squads” on a team is enough to make the game basically unplayable for the rest. Capping takes forever, so whoever is attacking has to die twice as much because they have to fight more enemies for longer. Defending is impossible because enemies can just swarm in and overpower you and if you’re the only one actually running to the objective (because few other people are hiding in some corner) you’re getting shot by everyone on the enemy team

And you do get rank based on your performance - even if you lose, you can not lose player rating by getting battle awards (which are quite numerous and varied and even just one will keep your rating from going down)

Eeeeeh, BR2 is kinda nice, BR3 is kinda cringe then it gets worse lol

BR5 you have the worst main rifle, worst SMG/Assault, kinda mid AT (i dunno, I don’t like using the stovepipe on US for some reason). If you can get the Stinger its pure nonsense but every other LMG is pure cringe (I guess the BAR is decent…but also BR2)
Now that they have the Pershings the armor situation is just sad not completely impossible…but those Pershings still will die to a stray 20mm shot from a plane lol.

And the P-47/Corsair is all fun and games…until someone who can build a flak or do something else than crash their plane into the ground shows up. Your best fighter is BR2 with no bombs or a P-51 (BR3) which is kinda outclassed by G.55 or the K-4 (unless you play like a total rat)

But it’s the players mostly. They are the most passive, lead anchor types I’ve ever seen. Not rare to end a match with a damn TIMEOUT recently. Like, 4+ players on US team will have half or less spawns than the people actually doing something and they’ll be 250m away in some building with an HMG with 0.5° field of fire or a sniper or sitting in spawn putting mortars into 2m thick concrete bunkers or calling in bombing runs back to back

I would argue the exact opposite. BR II is mid but BR III is excellent

The T20? The rifle the German mains complain is too OP compared to the FG 42? I seriously doubt it’s the worst. Very low recoil for what it is for one. Great range and damage for two

Thompson 50 is only overshadowed by the Soviet drum SMG’s and the new Hyde M1944 is top notch. Really enjoying it

It can kill a Tiger II. Is good enough

M1919A6 is very controllable. Don’t know what you’re on about, it’s a very good LMG

And since you don’t really mention BR III I will say this
M1 Garand is more or less the same as the other semi auto’s, trash but usable
The BAR’s are some of the best LMG’s in the game hands down
The Thompson selection, including the .30 caliber event Thompson, are solid choices with good damage per bullet and good RoF
The 105mm Sherman is an infantry support MONSTER
CAS is kinda lacking. Either M8’s out of a P-38 or the Dauntless from BR II

And BR II is good? Are you kidding me? Your choices are M1 Carbine, one of the worst rifles in the game, or a bolt action. One of 3 crappy top loaded please obscure my entire right half of the screen so I can’t acquire enemies while ADS’d British LMG’s. Fricking M3 Medium or Crusader for a tank with a large enough HE shell to do anything. The Sten, Grease Gun, or Lanchester for SMG’s. The Grease Gun having the capacity but not the RoF. The Sten being a piece of junk that fires all other the place with a literal chunk of metal for a sight. The Lanchester being good enough if you consistently land headshots and that’s it
There’s hardly anything here to work with! Unless you have a hard on for .303 and 9mm. There’s almost nothing here worth mentioning. III on the other hand comes swinging for the fences, and V is near unbeatable with its selection of equipment

Why would I respect the German main opinions on anything? They’re German mains :rofl: They basically have best or 2nd best gear across the board yet they still moan and cry all day lol

T20 is awful because it’s sights are kinda cringe, it’s not very fast to reload, it’s dispersion is the worst of all main BR5 rifles

BR2 allies - at least two P38s that can kill any vehicle it can face with ease, a Spitfire, Crusader, M8 Scott, some of the premium stuff like M24, very very good bolt actions, M1 Carbine, decent SMGs, perfectly good AT

BR3 allies - cringe Garand that is completely incapable of standing up to any harsh uptiers. Basically most of its semi viable weapons for BR3 are event stuff lol. Lanchester 50, the new Winchester is kinda nice. You don’t even have a BR3 attacker outside of another event vehicle (the Whirlwind) which is thoroughly mid when faced any opposition. You can use the event FP-5… which is kinda mid at best and really struggles when uptiered into heavy German armour. You can use the thoroughly mid P-51…which thoroughly struggles against any real opponents that are even partially sentient (I do not count shooting the blind and deaf into my consideration of the plane quality)

The only undeniably good thing is the M9 Bazooker

I generally hate LMGs but it’s just so damn slow. Slow to move, slow to aim, slow to fire

I mean…BR2 semiautos are all pretty cringe, I only use one engineering squad with full semiautos at BR2 anyway. The No.4 Enfield isn’t that much worse if you can land the shots or can get into stabstabbyrange lol

I don’t care about Thompson’s one bit, they are all trash (except the .30 cal…which once again is event only lol)

Shrug. Lanchesters rip and I love them. You do might have to land a headshot or two up close but unlike the doo doo .45 Thompsons you can actually do something about enemies further away than rock throwing range since they are little mean lasers

Now that they got the Hyde and the bigger Pershing they went from abysmal to almost viable. Most of the time you can however still beat them just by taking out a single real fighter or building a flak and protecting your KTs

Look man, all I can tell you is BR III Allies is some of the most fun I have in this game and 2/3 of that is the equipment selection alone. BR II Allies I can live without

Now that the toys for US are here its less bad but it wasn’t long ago when “br3” on EU somehow meant back to back BR5 Japan or Germany, at least for me

Well that’s the fun of gambling with BR III. I have no issues fighting V’s myself regardless of faction, but apparently that’s not a universal experience. Lol

On EU, at least before the latest update BR3 USA most of the time put me with my team having starter bolties and enemy team being mostly BR5
With the bonus of half of my team being less than sentient

nay… I go attack the point, defend the point and recapture the point. I just dont go running in like an idiot with my entire squad behind me getting them all wiped out nuless rushing the point.

If the point is empty and need to be capped I go in and get it. I try to find a good place to leave the rest of my squad while I go in.
What gets me especially with allies, people bring their entire squad up to the point and stop and all get prone and slaughtered.
The enemy starts throwing grenades flamethrowers and all has idiots are just laying on the ground getting liquefied.

Basically trying not to get killed, gets them killed. If I have 8 squad members stashed in a building close, I’m gonna be taking that point…weather I will be able to hold it is a different story if the other squads are still crawling on the ground waiting for???.. I will need to do it all over again. People dont understand that you have to be super aggressive and not give up. Especially if there are 3 or more points, you gotta pick one, and not go running off to cap another point only yo lose the one you just captured…stupid.

I also will never be the first one in if the enemy has fortified that point. I wait until the cannon fodder runs in, in mass and I go in behind and clean up. I will dive in through the window, use bombs or grenade launchers before entering. You gotta soften them up first if they have 30 guys in there. With my br5 allies team my go to close assault weapon is the m2 or Tommy gun.

My Germans go to is the V-5. Great weapon at short and medium/ long range. I’m still only BR3 with my Germans, just getting ready to go to BR 4 with them.

My soviet team is getting better, but the Br1 to 3 weapons suck.
I’m shooting a guy 10 meters, center of mass with a vbs 30 and its like the bullets are going around him and I’m a pretty good shot .

I take my time going in stashing my squad and keeping my situational awareness, looking for snipers.
I was an SP in the USAF and used to play paintball as well.
Never did see actual combat.
I was not law enforcement, I was on base security and we trained all the time.
Months of incredible boredom followed by 5 minutes of sheer terror.

I have a lot of lag most if the time because I’m really rural on a wireless, and I and go slower due to that.

Loose your whole squad before you know what hit you.
