so i finally got it…
this are the stats:
it takes 4 crew members:
and i want to share some quick notes for the ones that dont have it yet:
the crosshair on the sight is independent from the overall sight.
this is the normal zoom:
this is zoomed: (prety much the same)
most times on uneaven terrain my sight picture was this:
what a mess of a tank lol
there is a huge projectile drop on distance:
the reverse speed is -8
and manage to do 18 as top speed yet (strange)
the sights on the superstructure do move with the gun transverse and the sound firing is diferent from the other current firesounds on panther and pz4.
ugly as hell xD:
so, i fired 10 times or so against a T34:
the results speak from myself:
(quality on video will improve over time, was just uploaded.)
(but): the independent crosshair makes the tank almost undrivable on the gunner position even with the gunner perk.
can penetrate a t34 frontal armor easly but didnt manage to destroy it
did took me 4 shots on the side to kill a t34. lol (then i realised all the spash damage inside, if wasnt a practise run crew would die on the 1st shot)
slow as hell
i must play it now on public matches to see if its worth the level 20 (i dont belive it comparing to a panther but who knows…) → this was wrong just after the first match. this tank gun is powerfull as hell.
as i suspect…
it 1 shots t34s.

The sight looks pretty awful.

mg 42 shots almost 1 meter (1 football field and 3 quarters for our US fellows) below the sights and only transverses sideways a few degrees .
oveheats in about 5 seconds. = not worth even firing it.
i died after deflected 5 shots
a single penetration after it was enough to set me on fire and on a explosion.
reverse speed so far , if tank is well position will do wonders.
sights are pure trash.
Update.
mg42 actually moves the same as the turret and fires exacly on this mark:
once discover the mg42 actually dominates in this tank. (firerate)
Looks like the gunner’s sight / periscope can’t move up and down with the crosshair. That’s very sad.
I got it too, but this is pretty bad.
In wreckage-filled Berlin, the low ride height accentuates the disadvantages more than the advantages. Even if you get the enemy in your crosshairs, you often get hit by the garbage in front of you.
It was with this tank that I learned the importance of turrets in urban warfare. If you don’t look out the hatch, your vision is incredibly limited. If an enemy soldier with a Panzerfaust comes near you, that’s it.
And the worst disadvantage, the machine gun: the MG42’s bullets fly far away from where you are aiming. I don’t know if it’s the lack of a coaxial machine gun, but it’s completely useless.
I don’t know if it’s because of the lack of a coaxial machine gun, but this is completely useless. Even without turrets, bullets that hit in completely different places are not even a scare tactic. It’s garbage.
Honestly, I wish there was a Hetzer with a remote control machine gun.
i know.
as for the mg42, you need to aim where that red arrow is pointing, also, your tank needs to be straight where you aim. mg doesnt have too much horizontal transverse ratio.
