To never lose a battle is quite the pedigree indeed… the writing on the tank makes much more sense now.
never counted them i save 3 at time and use it on a vehicle at time, with the objective of having all vehicles max level. even if i dont intend to use them right now… vehicles on normandy were upgraded using gold coz i didnt knew about the batlepass after level 60.
if you bought elite batle pass. the best time/way to get them is finishing the batle pass as fast as possible and get 4x per day on the remaining days of batle pass (since the first 4 levels will be avaiable again after level 60 of batle pass) i m currently at level 41 of batlepass (ill probably end at 43/44 today), and probably will end it a few gaming days. (61 days right now)
if all goes to plan, i will have +/- 50 days to grind silver weapon orders from the level 3 batlepass and upgrade most my vehicles.
I see, I don’t lack silver orders for now as I hoard them like a chipmunk. Was telling myself “I’ll keep those for very late game weaponry when it gets implemented”. But like you I got elite BP and hoard silver without too much difficulties… Might start using some on my favourite tanks to make them smoother to use.
i would keep that saving atitude for later vehicles (such as a tiger 2 tank or a is2.) we will need them there.
right now there is no huge benefits on current tanks to be upgraded. its only few stats that doesnt give any advantage at all. (well they do ofc, but its marginal)
dont be like me. save them for latter vehicles.
btw:
last level of panzer IV / 70 takes 120 parts, each set of 3 silver orders get me between 8 and 15 (?) if i recall correcly. right now have about 36 of them… if all comes as only 8, will take me 11 sets of 3 just to finish the last upgrade doing the batlepass thing, ill take me 9 days to do… worth.
or, i just spend some gold if i want it right now. but i have time.
my other advice, is to save them just for vehicle upgrades. there is a huge influx of bronze orders that getting the weapon we want is purely a matter of rounds/time.
Haven’t unlocked that tiny TD yet. Any fun to use?
here: Quick notes on the panzer IV/70
overall its a disaster of a tank. current maps demand a turret on a tank to be effective.
the weapon is strong usually 1 hit t34’s, dont get me wrong here. but the sight picture + the way we have to aim the mg42 on the sight relative to a straight superstruction position its just meh
overall 10/10 as fun and uniqueness right now
1/10 as praticality ingame.
Ahah I’ll like it then, fun is the only real factor I’m looking for now (especially with Berlin’s current state) the occasional t34 one shot from it might create funny moments. But theres some maps I see it being very effective (garden… the train station…) there’s some good defensive/offensive spots/paths there that could suit it well. I admit it’s situational however…
T-50 For Moscow.
- It is skip of huge amount of grind (also pre-upgraded and with special camo)
- It is nice upgrade from BT-7 (which I absolutely loved to use)
“Commander of the troops occupying Poland before the third partition. Responsible for the slaughter of the civilian population [about 20k dead] during the capture of the Izmaił fortress and the Praga district of Warsaw.”
Sounds like a nice guy.
Callsigns are not given from the outside perspective. They are given from the perspective of the country they fight for. Pretty sure the guys victory list counts for itself why they think it is a great general and they think it should be on a tank, wall, statue you name it.
Easy to look from this point of history back and tell people not from our time who to pick as their heroes.
True.
Actually I’m suprised that he served under russian empire and is on the soviet tank. Commies didn’t like tsar and his homies as far as I know.
During World War II, the Soviet Union revived the memory of many pre-1917 heroes in order to raise patriotism. Suvorov was the Tsarist military figure most often referred to by Joseph Stalin, who also adopted the rank of Generalissimo that Suvorov had previously held.
The Order of Suvorov was established by the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet on 29 July 1942 and is awarded to senior army personnel for exceptional leadership in combat operations against superior enemy forces.
This is from the article posted a bit higher up
Oh, thanks. I didn’t know that this was the case.
Sorry but I’m to tired to read multiple A4 pages in english and learn something from it
Same indeed, just read the whole thing a moment ago. Pretty impressive repetoire the guy has.
As already mentioned, T-50, because the regular one appears so late in the campaign.
The same can be said for the Pz IV H. Also available super late but unlike the T-50, its predecessor (Pz IV J) sucks balls. More reason for me to get that one and skip the awful J.
Interesting answers.
Do you think the other vehicles will be available for Gold (real money) ???
Just take a look at the Gold Order weapons from the past events… they are!
Panther is my favourite so far. Panzer 4 H is also very good with it’s HE shells at normandy beaches.
TIzmail was a Turkish fort taken by storm - the garrison was 40,000 soldiers, of whioch 9000 weer captured…the Russians lost 1800 dead and 2500 wounded.
Massive casualties and slaughter were pretty normal in such circumstances in those days.
Compare to the storming of Bafajoz in 1812 by British forces under Wellington - “only” ~1500 French casualties from the 5000 man garrison - once the British got into the town they withdrew to an inner fortification and subsequently surrendered.
The British lost about 4800 in the attack, and the soldiers went on a rampage the next day killing and looting, including killing some of their officers who tried to restrain them - fortunately there were few civilians left in the town at the time, but maybe 20-30% of the 1000 or so estimated remaining were killed or wounded by the British soldiers -
Capture of Praga - Suvarov ordered surrender be accepted, women and children to be spared despite the storming of the suburb - unfortunately for the civilians the Polish defenders had been surprised by the assault and dispersed into and fought from houses - in such circumstances the troops quickly forgot their orders.
But also many of the dead drowned fleeing across the Vistula -
And Suvarov’s consistent releasing of prisoners annoyed some Russians and was remarked on at hte time!
There’s plenty of bad blood there too of course - over 2000 Russian soldiers had been killed in hte Warsaw uprising earlier in the year, by forces that included armed civilians - which cobegs comparison with German attitudes to Francs-tireurs in 1871 and 1914, and even what they thought of the British home guard in 1940…
I mean, I know that he didn’t do that for fun but still I have mixed feelings about this.
About what?
For his time he was an enlightened commander - better than a million other popular figures from times gone by celebrated by all cultures and societies around the world - none of them are lilly whte - dunno what you are expecting.
