I’m currently on level 16 in Moscow Axis, I’m considering buying the PZ III J gold order because both PZ II and PZ III E is horrible in my experience and don’t want to spend days and days grinding. Like the title says, is the PZ III J worth buying?
Only if you like the skin, otherwise it’s not worthy. It still cannot compete with T-50 nor T-34.
But soon new BR will be introduced. So if you like the skin…

because i feel like there are better panzer IIIs ( such as the N and the M )
and, you’d be better buying the panzer IV from the gold order. because when the merge comes, you’ll have your own vehicle that you will be able to use.

At this point it may be better to wait for a merge and use PzIV F or any other tank that suits future meta

unless, you like low tier, then, sure. the panzer III J can be a good tank.
which the opposition can struggle to pen if you angle like a tiger.
but, the turret traverse it’s gonna be your primary issues

I think I’ll just keep my golden orders.
If tanks performance and everything else is going to be similar to warthunder, I’d personally start to consider starting with J1 series of panzer 3s. The L and M series as well. These have the acceptable turret traverse speeds, while still retaining a rapid-firing 50mm gun. While weaker than the 75mm guns, they at least make up to it with high rate of fire.
The N series, having 75mm short gun, might be a bit cumbersome to use.
But, as said earlier, I prefer keeping these orders. Or whatever currency they may be converted into later.
Ausf. N is best version of Pz III for me personally, especially the Stalingrads version with HEATs.
You are just shredding infantry with 7,5 Cm caliber with very high firerate. And heats can easily destroy any tank you’ll encounter, especially after BR system will be a thing.
I really like this tank in Enlisted, it’s very enjoyable.
Golden orders aren’t planned to being converted into anything. This concept will stay as it is.

But the low shell velocity tends to make this tank more difficult to use, especially at longer ranges.
Though, ranges are already more limited here, so… it can be negligible.
It certainly works better with it’s 75mm gun, as the explosive is larger, at clearing out infantry.

Yeah, you don’t want to camp with N. Its very agile vehicle and you can easily dodge most of threats (meaning pirmaly EP) + you have pretty decent armor.
Yep, it’s extremely good in bullying infantry.
They will do implement it. They replace all silver and bronze orders. But gold orders will stay as they are currently.

Panzer III J is third the best (fourth if to count premium Panzer IV E) German tank in this campaign.
I use it along with the Panzer IV F2.

moscow axis is probably the worst side you can play compared to soviets they are terrible not to say that almost all the high level players are on soviet side axis is mostly bots

It’s definitely not. All 3 available pz4 are better, and the pz3 J1 is also much more dangerous thanks to it’s long barrel, high velocity.
And I’m not even taking into account premium vehicles.
The regular pz3J is just a bit better than the pz3E… that would place it fifth “best” tank, which is to say…

The pz3j is not a bad tank is only forced to fight monsters like t34 and kv1… Imo aganaist Bt7,t28,grant,crusader ecc it can do a great job
