To be fair, if your overall winrate is 40%, that’s not just you at that point
But in general, it’s definitely going to be worth if someone’s being rude / narcissistic, which is popular here, so I’m all for it. I had fun using just replays alone but if I can get STATS too?? Hell yeah
Yeah, in an ideal situation he will not run into end game gear without having something equivalent in his lineup.
So the situation where he would should hopefully be an outlier
Here’s a more accurate discription: you don’t know how the game works, start raging, spewing nonsense about “rigged” matches and get called out on it, 100% deservedly so. I’m sorry but I can already see you’re writing BS and trying to hide insecurities with insults even without knowing your winrate, KDR, or anything like that.
Let the losers obsess over their stats up to a point of trying to pad them, you just make sure to keep your arguments BS-free and you’ll be fine. If they truly are dismissing what you say solely based on your stats, why would you care about them or want to socialize with them? But that’s not all there is to it, isn’t it. Looks like those comments about you not knowing what you’re talking about hit way too close to home.
That being said, I don’t care about public stats one way or the other. Let them stay hidden for all I care.
No, but I use them for my own entertainment, usually put on my own replays, get some coffee, and watch the worst players in those games, bottom of the scoreboard, real players, not bots, there has been times I almost laughed so hard that I fell off my chair. Some people playing this game has no clue at all and it’s really funny to watch.
After reading all the comments and thinking about this I have to agree with you. Although, not completely, because things have a way to balance and to come to a certain order, and having noobs raging and complaining about so many mechanics that they don’t understand it’d be dangerous to allow them to suggest or give their opinion about something in particular. But also, instead of allowing everyone to see the personal stats, I’d just give a level to the account, like so many other forums out there, and no one will brag about anything, or even comment anything toxic.
I agreed my post on wot forum was a stupid rage quit, no need to push it up my nose further
It’s not really about insecurities. People are greedy, they always want more and then when they get it they like showing off and rubbing it to others faces. I’ve met many newcomers in this game who actually had good arguments and suggestions, with stats these people aren’t allowed to suggest anymore without the fear of being roasted. that’s my point
as for insults, I’m sorry if I insulted anyone but I don’t remember writing any insults on this topic.
Sorry, didn’t get you there. insecure about what exactly?
This screen with numbers?
Use it to measure my forum penis or whatever you do…
or that WoT comment.? The wot comment was solely posted here as an example of a stat-obsessed community
Go and type in on google or reddit: why is wot community so bad?
You’ll encounter aa dozen of answers talking about the toxic, stat-obsessed community
Again, this is just my opinion, I’m not trying to go to a war with you guys for disagreeing. I have negative views on this idea, and I want to express them and see why players disagree. That’s why I answer to almost every comment
But calling me insecure and making up that I insult people is just not okay. You don’t have to get angry at me for having different views, even if let’s say 99.9999% of playerbase disagree I will still stand to my words, that’s just kind of person that I am
If I insult anyone you have right to report me but most of the time I try to be reasonable on this forum
I agree with this, Battlefield has it and it’s a good system to distinguish new from veteran players.
But having access to every peace of info a certain player did is just dirty
'cause you’re a brigadier general and not a commander (just kidding bro),
Yeah, I personally don’t like it. Also, having access to the replays of other players is kinda… Oof, you can start stalking random players and exposing them on the forum for whatever reason you might have.
No problem, I’m not ashamed by it
I don’t play as much as I used to
When I’m on forums, I’m either in a bus or on a couch at social club. I can barely manage to play 1h per day
On topic, Player stats is a dangerous feature, can be, yes
But i am also a stat whore, i want more detailed stats,
I don’t think people are, good just cause you of your K/D ratio or win loss.
There should be stats, for any mechanic in game, not just k/d ratio, win/loss rate.
Detailed time on cp etc etc all of it, yes rally builds, spawned from rally etc etc , everything.
To me posting stat 5-1 k/d but only play one team, don’t mean shit,
and yes some will always have higher stats, so get used to them, they use data? what’s data/stats.
i want it all, what i do in match every detail , how long i sat there looking at the sun everything.
I see no reason why one should have to share it, unless they do, like now, and post it themselves anyway.
The rank system already causing problems where its obvious who are the veterans and who are noobs based on their ranks especially with the increased point requirement for Marshal where everyone knows a marshal has played this game much longer than any silver ranking player out there. Who knows how it will be worse if public player stats are a thing.
I remember how toxic XVM is in WoT because of players targeting green players first with arty because his teammates are orange or reds and that’s just annoying as hell.
I do kinda agree, in the current state of the game, you have to be a meta whore most of the time, but I dont think that thaw will be much of a problem once they implement the new progression system, It depends where most of the players decide to play, tho at the same time, I think that the change will make the game easier to balance, because same tier weapons or vehicles should have similar win rates, so if they notice something being clearly better than other stuff they can make changes since now there is no lvl justification, so overall things should be more fair
what’s wrong with that? why should you get an opinion if you suck? if someone knew about the game and how it worked, they wouldn’t suck. i rarely see bad opinions from good opinions, and vice versa.
