This phenomenon is starting to be common here as well, in Enlisted.
As such, and it’s really for their own good so those players shoved into br5 because of their SINGLE br5 premium squad, well
They don’t get disgusted by the game.
I propose that players who haven’t yet reached a specific TIER of the tech tree, CANNOT BUY premiums squads corresponding to those tiers and battle ratings.
Now, gaijin, we know how greedy you are. But think long term. If those players get disgusted early, they will buy one squad, then leave to never come back. If instead they are a bit restricted, they will stick to the game longer, and perhaps buy more! They may even buy those low br premiums that they usually bypass.
Think about it. It’s muney for you, and more playing pals for us.
I think it would be better if the player received a massive warning with funky flashing lights to warn them of the outcome instead of completely blocking multiple premium squads.
We should get massive discounts on BR1-3 premiums to encourage more people to play at low BR, especially BR1-2. Older low BR squads should have discounts ranging from 75% up to 90% depending how old they are. They shouldn’t be removed and sold at $50 because it’s bad for everyone. We should also be able to unlock low BR premiums just by grinding our battle pass.
We already had a single pack with -78% discount so nothing stops them from giving us better discounts for separate low BR squads and vehicles or maybe they could introduce heavily discounted low br packs that would get 3 premiums for each nation, give them premium Assaulter, Engineer and a tank/plane for just $8. And even better discount if you want to buy them for all nations (12 premiums total).
Yes it’s just like labels on cigarettes or alcohol (buyer beware)! If you’re buying the item then you can have all the warnings but just know it’s not P2W. Can’t stop people from using their money how they want. I get the idea of maybe restricting but you also have to just let the market do its thing.
i have legit never seen this before and that from when i first start playing around 3 year ago i doubt they gonna do this again tbh but if they do i would probably buy it
Well why do you care about newcommer who knows this shit will happen and often goes idgas. Just don’t add squad to your squad composition or equip them BR 1 weapons
To be fair, in warthunder at least it costs less respawn points to get in with a lower BR vehicle, so there actually might potentially be a reason for it in WT.

before you can earn new squad n new weapons armour etc now you get nothing u have to pay for it all and all u get is a basic troop
so you cant grind out the game as before – hmmmm also demotion even if your team wins whats going on as now we’ve weapons trees n no squads at all to get I’ve not played for ages -

Yeah its pretty annoying but blocking them from getting them is a little harsh I think a Disclaimer that warns you about the BR of the squad in question should pop up.
Its is annoying. Coming from playing warthunder all the guys that Bought straight into High BR vehicles and dont have a clue about whats going on or what they are doing…
buuuuuut…on the flipside, most of the other team are in the same boat too lol…at least 50% fodder, minimum
I downloaded WT after few years, bought BR 10 tanks in sales. And thenI was just boosting up my team’s morale through my skill on maps I no longer remembered or had never even played.
