IMA noob and these things suck about this game

I complained 2 and had questions 2 times and they just told me to go to the forums! And it took them 2 days to say that.

I was an IT for 15 years and I know servers and developers et al, gotta be paid but this is crazy. I did not think it would be this bad. This is just plain manipulation an greed.

Ah… the Mosquito.

You’re a man of taste, but sadly I, and some other plane buffs, believe it’s overtiered. It should be 1 br lower… beautiful plane, but not meta.

As for Winchesters I don’t have them but heard they’re quite decent for a br4 squad, they have big magazines I think.

As for Spitfire, it’s golden even without any upgrades. The only thing that can dogfight toe to toe with it, is the Japanese Zero.

But, don’t consider hosted match as the norm. Those are custom matches yes? There’s mostly just bots in them. Few actual humans who think and use strategies.

Well the game doesn’t want you camp at one place for whole game so its pretty much expected if I understood from what you said

Ignore the popup simple

Maybe get a physics textbook and you will understand that going over 400 knots and still 110% throttle will produce too much lift that can’t be counteracted by elevators which will force your plane to pitch higher up. So if you go for dive, make sure the speed is around 100 kts and throttle 0% for diving or kamikaze.

If you are newbie why are you in BR 4-5? Equip your squad with BR 1 weapon first, progress on tech tree until reaching there.

So what does this teach us? The game should only allow you to buy premium units for BRs you have already unlocked.

Same goes for GO items and participation in events.

I suggested that myself…

But there’s many ethical problems with it and ppl generally didn’t agree.

I’d love a really big, flashing pop-up when buying, thought:

“Beware, using this squad will place you in br5 matches. Use at your own risk” or something :stuck_out_tongue:

for majority of squads, premiums are either sidegrades or even downgrades compared to tech tree counterparts. premium squads on other hand double xp gained per squad. this was intentional design so you dont get p2w squads (although some exist that give advantage over tech tree counterparts).

if you spent 130$ then you should have at least 2-3 premium squads, premium time and maybe some extra slot. grind is pretty fast if you have premium+couple of premium squads+BP+skill. your only mistake is that you bought BR3+ squads that cant compete against BR5 stuff that you get matched in MM.

I agree with much of what you say, I posted yesterday about how it feels like players are punished for playing the objective. Spawn camping also happens because of how the maps work. Some points/lines are okay, but others are death funnels for infantry, with no cover.

I think the biggest barrier to newer players are the vehicles. You have no good option to deal with high level enemy tankers or pilots, the ranged AT weapons are too weak, especially low tier. It is very frustrating. I have all the high level stuff, thousands of games played, but I’m getting the BR4 experience after the Russian tech tree changed to add the late war tanks.

I will also add my personal pet peeve, annoying me since ancient times:
Why do guns have random misses until fully upgraded? “Shots deviation” is the utmost cancer in my opinion. Nobody should have to use a bolt action that just straight up misses 15% of the time. Just make them slower instead, jeez.

No that is not giving the freedom for people to choose and buy their product. Its your responsibility on what you buy or not, the developer shouldn’t spoonfeed people for making stupid decision even thought they can spend some time looking if its correct BR and ask forum for advice before buying it.

Why use high-level equipment to go to high-level environments when you know your skills are not good?

Actually, I was thinking I was king in BR 1-2 and after I got the premium squad and was going against BR 4-5 at first I was getting slaughtered. I 'm actually holding my own now even with my crappy weapons.
I didnt realize it was my premium squad and plane that put me against BR 4-5.
I just thought I was because there because it was just the progression.

Like I said I have been playing FPS since the came into existence. It’s been a few years. MOHAA was my last one, but I was into Doom, Star Trek Elite Force, etc and was always on he top tier of players. In BR 1-2 as soon as I got my bearings I got my old chops back after a week, and felt like I was back in the saddle again.

I checked out videos from ParaDivision and Quadro and they reminded me how to play because thats how I used to play and it all came back to me. I was getting tired of BR 1-2 and checked out the hosted games and once I was playing with equal arms and learned the maps thought I was back on top again…But noooooo.

First few games against 4-5 were humiliating.

And yes, I build rallies an the other stuff, mark targets. I like to go after the guys coming after the flank. That is why I end up off the battlefield. going after the flank of the flankers.

I have been trying to concentrate on defending objectives but if the other side comes in force my entire squad die after the my grenade is gone and burn through a couple of mags.

My best strategy has been find a good place for I can snipe from until I get better weapons and not burn up tickets.

I will stick with it a little longer and go back to BR 3 now that I know all I have to do is sideline my BR 4 -5 stuff. I didnt know thats why I was out classed weapon wise.

Read my other posts, I have the skills. I have been playing FPS a long time. I can compete the best here with the right equipment. I have proved that to myself in he hosted games. I was always been in with the top players. It’s been a few years but I still got it. IMA OG.

You got it all wrong dude.

I’ll play against you any time with equal weapons.
I thought I knew how BR worked, but there is a lot more to this game than I’m used to.
You can’t get an answer if you don’t know the question to ask.

I was playing FPS probably before you were a gleam in your mamas eye.

This game is not all about skill level, it’s about what weapons you have.

Rocketman would seethe… “parasite planes!”

That is the business model.
It’s actually very predatory.
Like a drug dealer giving out free samples.

This is the most polite and poetic way I’ve seen to write that you’re older.

I might borrow it myself.

(Are you Canadian by any chance?)

That did cross my mind lol

why are you so upset all of the sudden?

I don’t feel much
The problems with point 5 and the conclusion are questions that only casual players or unskilled newcomers can express.

The advanced environment is an environment that allows outstanding players to use equipment without restrictions.
This is why a guy who hasn’t even figured out how to use terrain and skills will be massacred here.

Fighting is a learning process
However, equipment level does not mean having the same level of ability.
This is why development time is needed
Newcomers need time to learn skills, upgrade equipment and stay where they should be
This way there won’t be more idiots with poor skills crying about being slaughtered.
It can also reduce the chance that normal players will be poisoned by these idiots.
