Did you know that in Normandy, the Allies have more aircraft and the Axis have more tanks than one side, making it very difficult for both sides to compete with the same armies, which has led to complaints from players on both sides?
So normally there would be cries for weakening them, but I thought, 'Well, why not put opponents in the same armoury? I thought it would be a good idea to have a rival in the same armoury.
In this article, I propose a counterpart.
Axis forces
Fw 190 F-8.

This fighter-bomber has a very powerful explosive loadout for a single-engined aircraft and can be armed with 4 x 50kg bombs & 1000kg bombs and 55mm Pb2 (Panzerbiltz2) to increase the Axis forces’ ground attack firepower.
Hs 129B-3.
This aircraft was designed primarily for anti-tank attack. It was equipped with a 75 mm cannon and its offensive power was enormous, but it lacked engine power, making it difficult to operate.
Me 410 B-2/U4
This aircraft was originally intended for destroying bombers, but could be used for anti-tank attacks by using armour-piercing ammunition.
This aircraft was equipped with 50 mm BK5.
Allied Forces.
M26 Pershing.
This tank was equipped with a powerful 90mm gun and was able to go toe-to-toe with the Axis-held Tiger 1.
Penetration was 1000m/147mm with the APCBC and 1000m/234mm with the APCR.
A34 Comet 1.

This tank was equipped with a 77mm QQF Mk. II of 76.2mm calibre, developed based on the QF 17pdr, and had a penetration of 1000m/127mm in APCBC and 1000m/170mm in APDS.
It was also highly manoeuvrable and could travel at a maximum speed of 52 km/h.
A30 Challenger
This tank was designed as an extension of the Cromwell and was equipped with a QF 17pdr.
Penetration was 1000m/143mm with APCBC and 100mm 189mm with APDS.
Of course they should be made available to players free of charge

But there’s still not enough high BR US ground vehicles to match Tiger II, JP and things like that after merge. I think its very good suggestion with needed content.

Progression Contenent not additional campaign level
This is a very tricky issue.
Having played both sides fully and extensively, I will say that Allies definitely have the advantage currently.
While the Axis may have the Tiger, there are still some very strong tanks available to the Allies. On the flip side though, the Allies have MUCH stronger aircraft available than the Axis.
My biggest issue is that the Axis are at the disadvantage due to how easy it is to kill tanks. Options include:
- Other tanks
- Field guns
- AT mines
- Explosive packs
- AT weapons
- Flame weaponry
- Even good placement of Czech Hedgehogs and trenches can deal with them.
- HMG from a good angle
The aircraft however can only be taken out by:
- Other Aircraft
- AA
- Once in a very great while, an HMG.
Of the equipment currently available, Ally aircraft definitely reigns supreme.
I’m all for more equipment for both sides, but there will need to be some extremely powerful additions to Axis aircraft to really have a chance at “balance”.
OR
Make the aircraft GUNNER’s actually worthwhile. The big bomber for the Axis should have all angles covered by gunners, and not small ones either. Including a front gunner in place of actual capabilities to shoot on command. In so many cases I can follow right behind enemy aircraft and it seems incapable of taking them down, which is absurd.
The other thing I’d like to note is that not just vehicles need more diversity, but fortifications too. Right now the tanks especially are in a odd place that they are considerably easy to kill when they get close, but there is currently no REASON to get close. Fortifications are shattered without much difficulty, vehicles cannot capture objectives, etc.
If there were structures that actually needed a tank in order to break through, it would greatly change the balance of vehicles with that too.

That’s basically the same thing.

@61839981 Have you considered that allies would have to face things from Berlin campaign as well after merge? I really don’t think Germany has so underpowered aircrafts. The only problem is that Ju-188 is constantly bugged (few months ago crew was randomly jumping out of plane after spawn, now they’re just too lazy to shoot.) Plus rockets of US planes are really overpowered. (But I think they will nerf them one day, like they did with pretty much everything related to explosions).

No, if normandy campaign not exist anymore ask for add pershing at lv40 is useless, instead ask to add pershing at american high-end BR tech tree is useful
Depends on how you write it
Yeah, they should add f2p version of firefly.

That’s pretty much the same thing imho. He just suggested vehicles he would like to see in game, that’s the relevant part.

If so, how about the Shaman Firefly VC?
This can be added without harming what you already have.

The M26 Pershing did not fight in Normandy. They were delivered to France when the Allies were preparing to capture Antferp and cross the Rhine River.

If the game was more historic the Germans in Normandy should get more tank slots, and the allies should get more aircraft.

Are you sure?
Enlisted had a working Abrams for the last “modern” event.
I’m also 100% certain we will have modern tech trees at some point in the future.
- USA will probably have modern Abrams, m4, drones…
- Germany will probably have leopard2 and the like…
- Russia will probably have old Soviet era equipment and vehicles
…
- Maybe we will see modern Brits, French, Swedish, chinese modern things too.
One day.
