For me it is, i always spot, even if i can kill that tank just because i like for teammates to know that it is there. And lot of time they get it tbh.

Whether that advantage is very useful, whether it makes you a better player or not, etc, is entirely irrelevant. Having the ability to bring more squads objectively gives you more flexibility in a match. You want to argue it doesn’t? You literally agreed earlier that the extra squads should either be removed or be obtainable for free earlier

If the premium squad gained the same soldiers as the normal squads, MP41 and MG30 would still be stronger than their normal counterparts. If those were nerfed, then I would be completely fine with it. But the developers decided that 4 soldiers max was a better solution. As such, I am not willing to support the reimplementation of the higher capacity squads until the more powerful weapons are nerfed.
Similarly, if you could obtain these extra squads for free, I would not have an issue with them being available through payment. But they are not, and give an advantage. As such, I wish to see them either removed, or made accessible for free.

The fact that the guns are stronger is balanced out by the lower maximum amount of soldiers. Without the balance factor that makes the squad weaker in return of the soldiers being stronger, all that would be left is the soldiers being stronger.
I mean it doesnt really balance them by giving them less of that good weapon, but ill pretend to agree while i call your nurse

I’ve actually changed my opinion on the MP41 since OBT started and it’s not the only fucking thing I see in Moscow. It’s actually pretty close to a max star MP40 in performance and that’s just fine.
Adding the extra troopers back in would be absolutely fine since the perks that actually made the four prem soldiers a bit p2w are gone and there are better options to pick from that EVERYONE can get even at level 1-2.

MP 28 has little better rof, but MP 34 is still great gun and can easily do same job as premium MP 28.
As been said, perks are what makes soldiers be better, and i can have those on my non-premium Assaulters as well.
I would have preferred if they balanced out the premium squads by nerfing the guns, as said, so the reduction in squad capacity was not required.
Why not remove that tiny recoil advantage they have left? Then nobody would complain about them being an upgrade. That’s literally all I ask for and if that was done I would wholeheartedly support the buff back to 7 soldiers.
But the MP28 is better. If it had higher recoil to balance out the higher rate of fire, it would be fine. But it has no downside compared to the MP34. And that is my simple issue.
