Brother i never said that the current squads are P2W, also i agreed from the start that they need a change. Either a cut their price in half or rework them ( i said my thoughts on the rework above)

I can tell that - my kids are sensible and coherent.
Premium squads still offer an advantage on a new campaign before you’ve leveled up to decent weapons for your regular squads. They are also pay to progress as far as I’ve understood, offering extra xp. I think they are fine as they are, I wouldn’t buy them anyway unless they could be considered micro transactions instead of the current macro transactions they are. I consider them whale traps with their current pricing, you could buy a whole game for some of those prices.

imagine i did compleat all the campaign levels which i did on 2 campaigns, and then i decided i m enjoying the game let me suport the devs and acquire a premium assaulter squad for example…

what the xp boost means to me then since i cant level no more?
what i will recieve? 4 soldiers, 4 guns i cant change. no techtree to upgrade them
4 assaulters with no option to change the weapons or have a secondary one. and on that squad i cant have an engineer with them, a radio guy, a bomber, a trooper . what ever
in the mean time, i level also the non premium squads,
4 assaulters, with 1 engineer, 1 radio guy 1 trooper and 1 machineguner. all of them i can swap guns, have secondarys and be way more versatile in the batlefield. and then i come to realise that non premium ones have way more advantages in many many more levels than any premium squad right now.
is that what you call balance? because i dont.
the problem isnt the xp boost it gives, as far as i can tell no one cares if you level faster than others.
the problem isnt the prices IF we could have another soldiers in them
the problem isnt the weapons they come with, its the lack of future costumisation on the squad.
you buy a limited product, that gives no benefit besides a xp boost, IF and only, when you use them on the batlefield, after a campaign is compleated, there is no need to use them over a normal squad and our premium squads will stay underperforming normal ones .
ill i keep suporting the game for free to play players enjoy it for free or should i stop? coz you see, xp isnt something i need.

I would suggest that you either wait for another campaign or use regular squads. If you have completed the campaign you could probably already fill out a squad with mostly level 4-5 soldiers with the best available weapons. If you want to support the devs just buy some coins, I did that when I just started playing and figure I’ve paid enough already since I bought equivalent to the price of a normal game. Still keeping some coins in reserve for whenever Tunisia arrives since I’m not that exited about grinding Germans vs Soviets again in Berlin for almost the same weapons as I’ve already used in Moscow.
The premium squads are whale traps for people who can spend several €1000s a week on pixels and don’t have to work for a living, they are just there to fund the game, let them be as they are.
The campaign experience table is smaller than the experience table of all normal squads.
If you think that premium squads are simply bought for experience, you are mistaken.
Reaching the max level of the campaign is easy. After that, this problem is caused because the squad is just thrown away.

would premium squads be an issue for you if
they performed exacly like a non premium squad? (with extra 100% xp boosts as is)
same number of soldiers
same options of costumisation as a normal squad ? (a premium assault squad having exacly the same upgrades as a non premium assault squad for example)
answer me this.
exacly the same as a non premium squad but with 100% xp bonus for the ones that need it.
no OP perks
no 7 soldiers of the same class
no extra slots
nothing that gives an advantage besides the xp for the campaign.
answer me this. is that too much to ask? will that unbalance the game?!

It feels a bit cheap that people can basically just buy a higher level instead of having to progress for it (having 3 premium squads like your description would almost be like buying a high level), maybe make better premium squads available only after reaching a certain level.

It wouldn’t be an issue as long as you can’t get such squads from level 1.
i have proposed somewhere in this thread that to be able to buy said squads, we should have the level of a non premium type unlocked first.
I didn’t see that post, well then I don’t see any problem with your suggestion.

in the near future, normal soldiers on normal non premium squads will be able to rank to “Veteran” level, alowing said soldiers to have even better perks than current 5 star alows.
this will only make them even better comparing to premium soldiers on premium squads
