Pre-order: "Silent Storm" guerrilla squads

Werewolf units were more of a propganda bluff than an actual fighting unit, should have use some different units

spawntrapping is not an illegal tactic in any gaijin games

Would you share some data for new weapons?

@Euthymia07-live can we get the gun stats and or soldier perks for the new squads.

Few friends are quite tempted by the pack, and few more details would help them make a decision.

If they are adding new guerrilla squads for higher ranks they should implement also tech tree ones. I have no issue with them being premiums if such thing will be implemented BUT if y’all will be shady with introducing even more stuff hiden behind pay wall its really sad and it is lack of respect for enlisted player base which already isnt that big…
Also japan lacks such squad kinda surprised they dont seem to get it even they are only nation without prem guerrilla squad…
Ah and it would be REALLY USEFULL IF YOU MAKE PREORDERS to KNOW WHAT BASIC PERK AND PERK DISTRIBUTION is like.

Maybe event squads ?

We have seen such behavior with the first release of guerrila.

Though we did not get any true event squad in the past six months though

Very cool squads! I’m sure there will certainly be many interested in them! As for myself and a few other Japan players tho, we are starving for some Japanese Guerrillas, event/Premium/more TT whatever you name it!

And I know the theme here is suppressed weapons and that Japan at a glance and even a decent look you’d be hard pressed to find them. But the Japanese did try out some stuff with some purchased maxim suppressors and did a bunch of testing with domestic designs.

@SzepWaxweiler took the courtesy of showing me what @_DELAVR had found in terms of suppressors patents in Japan, with some detailed drawings of them and what guns they were intended to suppress. Along with the mention of a pistol suppressor being tested too.

↓↓Here’s where DELAVR posted about them too ↓↓

Apologies mods I know English only here but lemme bend the rules ever so little.

The Devs might have to take some slight liberty with the appearance of the Japanese suppressors, but otherwise it should be doable. Worst comes to worse, just base them upon the maxim suppressors of the period and prior. If the Hino rifle can be brought into fruition, I’m sure a cool quiet metal cylinder on the end of a type type 99 rifle or LMG can’t be too hard.

I genuinely don’t intent for this as any form of ungratefulness, I’m just trying to get more eyes to see Japan has options for really cool stuff!!

The same could be said about most partisan/resistance movements.

I do not own them but i agree 100% but i doubt it will be changed

That actually is a complicated topic - most basic silencers function as a tool that “delays” how gas exists the barrel, but also actually increase overall pressure build up. So to speak they even increase the muzzle velocity of a round as they are somewhat of a barrel extension.

For gas loaders like M16 this will even make the weapon kick back more gas into the chamber and ultimately into the shooters face.

So silencers actually make a gun more violent - which is why most modern rifles have adjustable gas blocks.

What people dont understand is that video games always automatically assume that suppressed weapons also use special sub sonic ammo which drastically reduce gas pressure and bullet velocity to be as the name suggests below the sound barrier.

Well would be cool to at least equip Guerilla soldiers with Silenced MP-40s and Stens, maybe by making those weapons available to them.

Nice to see Guerilla getting some love

Well…
Look at the the picture of both squads… I know it’s just artistic representation but even thought I’m no expert with those, I’m rather sure there shouldn’t be such big muzzle flashes coming out of those, if any…

What I mean is: I’m not sure DF has a clue either.

Which is why I’d love to see both weapons stats cards, which I wonder why @MajorMcDonalds or @Euthymia07-live haven’t shown us yet

Note: picture isn’t shown, doooh my bad, here:

It should just be an artistic effect, there can’t be such a big flame in actual combat

It’s what I’ve said

I’d still really like to see stats cards…

I would also like to note that early Japanese machine gun silencers were intended primarily for use in armored vehicles. I think adding a Type 91 machine gun (a tank version of the Type 11 with an optical sight and increased ammunition) with a silencer sounds the most realistic. I would also like to note that in testing the silencer for the Arisaka Type 38 rifle, a standard cartridge was used, in the case of machine guns, as I can assume, a standard cartridge was also used, at least I am not aware of any work on creating subsonic cartridges. I should note that in the USSR, in the case of DP machine guns with a late SG 42 silencer, standard cartridges were also used.

I also made a specific proposal for Japanese “partisans” with the Type 91. It seems to me that a machine gun with a silencer and an optical sight could play very well on 3 BR:

Although the Hino rifle is a fake, we have photos of this fake. But photos of the PPD Bramit submachine gun have not survived to this day, you simply will not be able to find them, nevertheless, it did not prevent the developers from introducing it (all the images that exist are reconstructions).
