I used to advocate for keeping strong SMGs (Király, Tokyo Arsenal, Ppsh41, drum Thompson) on BR5 because they are still useful if used right and can compete with BR5 weapons, which is exactly why I’m asking now for the downtier of these weapons to BR4.
After Király 39M was moved to BR4, I played BR4 Axis and found that even in a BR4-5 match, I can still perform decently as long as I keep cycling SMGs while BR3 players could still keep up, finding a decent power balance in which BR4 is not hopeless against BR5 but also stronger than BR3 without crushing them.
Considering that the Ppsh41 that the very very similar Ppsh-45 and Ppd-40 are already BR4, I see no reason not to move Ppsh41 to BR4.
Sure, the PPSH is good, but like you said it feels really similar to the PPSH 45 and PPD 40, so I don’t think it would be very bad for it go get downtiered. And also the MP 717 (R) should go down to BR4 too, since it’s very similar statwise to the PPSH 45
i just hate powercreep that happened in this game. BR3 SMG got downtiered to BR2 and now you want BR5 smg to get downtiered to BR4. i would rather that we go in other direction and move some BR2 smg to BR3 and some BR3 smg to BR4, while nerfing SF at BR5.
Understandable opinion.
No uptier/downtier would solve these issues but beggars can’t be choosers.
As I said first, Im not a huge fan of powercreeping either but considering how unpopular BR4 is, I doubt this change would make BR3 suffer.
Anyway nerfing SF rifles would indeed be better.
Well that’s not really power creep the power creep happened long time ago PPsh 45 is BR IV and PPD Bramit so for me it doesn’t matter will they move it to BR IV since I already have it at BR IV
stop saying this you want br5 as its own que
preventing br5 from facing br4 is not br4 having its own que
thats br5 having it own que
br4 having its own que would mean br4 could only fight br4
not br5 or br3
i might write poorly but you are made of stupid
It’s not a fact, there’s a modern photo here.
and judging by the only source that I found, the drum itself is located in the central museum of weapons of the Russian Guard of the Penza region, the only way to find out for sure is to write to them and find out for sure.
SMGs have no place in BR5 with the adaptation of assault rifles for every faction. All SMGs should be downtiered, even the ones with 71 round or 100 round magazines
