PPSH-41 (S) shouldn't be a TT weapon

Three post. Three post on why the PPSH-41 (S) shouldn’t be in the soviets TT. Three posts were the community discuss their displeasure with it being add as a Tech Tree weapon. And just like you said @MajorMcDonalds

Then do better by not adding the PPSH-41 (S) to the Soviet TT and all other silenced weapons you guys are planning on adding.

Silenced weapons should be event weapons, BP weapons, attached to event squads, or attached to premium squads.

i value personal enjoyment more than anything and think all countries should have an equal TT alternative.

This is just usual soviet bias… they already had the best suppressed weapon, giving them a TT is just overkill.

they shouldnt be getting another BR V SMG on the first place, they lack nothing there ffs

It is Japan that needs more stuff in TT

i really dont care if silent weapons are premium/event or not… i just hate that all (good)unique mechanism are given to one faction…

  • customizable paratroopers
  • rmn 50
  • body armor

only other faction that has something relatively unique is japan with its sword pistol, katanas and type hei “MG” with shield. so they are mostly meme or premium features.

They should’ve not made customizable paratroopers for the USSR, or give every nation one. Body armor should’ve just been a cosmetic thing, and I don’t really know about the RMN 50

Comrades, what can I say? Even I, Soviet Main, am against adding the PPSh-41 (S) to the tech tree. It doesn’t belong there. It should be moved to event weapons/premium weapons.

My concern isn’t really that it’s TT per say…

But that players will replace all their iconic ppsh41 with silenced ones, they will be everywhere…

All tankers will have silenced ppsh41, all pilots also…

It’s just strange to me. Because it will no longer be special, but just… common.

It would have been best to release a unique, cool looking squad, event or premium, with those equipped imo.

There is clear support to reevaluate the PPSh-41 (S)s placement inside the game and the developers should make a official statement, positive or negative, on whether the PPSh-41 (S)'s placement in the tech tree is being reconsidered.

At this point? I’ll settle for “yeah, we don’t care but we’ve seen it” as a response, this not knowing and being ignored feeling is not nice.

Just like @Conscript_Joe, I too worry about the future aesthetic of the game, I don’t want the quiet rattling to become the norm in the game, why the hell did I install a soundmod then?

It’ll not just be wrong, it’ll look wrong, sound wrong, feel wrong…

Just give other factions such fun gun as new BP rewards we don’t need garbage BR0 shotguns. And PPSH-41 (s) should also be a BP or event weapon
