Please return the old repair mechanics, this makes it impossible to repair a tank at nearly any time

I can nearly guarantee this is one of the things that got negatively reviewed in “testing” It just looks pretty but otherwise it’s a complete 180 for no reason.

Well we saw it was a nerf to the tankers from the second it was announced.

Havent really experienced it much yet…only had to repair once so far, and it was only an engine…so it was actually quicker than before.

Wondering if breech can be repaired from back of turret.

Im indifferent for now

I find it not that bad I actually enjoy it, it makes sense and it makes repairs in tight situations faster

I still cant believe they removed zoom in command view. And want to know what? You can zoom in the command view when you look out the tank

Its what i call S.H.I.T. Super Hiper Impractical Task, you just dont have time to sit there walking around your tank fixing it when literaly all soldier can kill you, the maps are tiny and tight, tanks should fight at distances of less that 100 meters sometimes 150, if we gonna have mechanics like this for tanks so infantry should get a heavy weapon sway, members disabled after shots like arms or legs, methabolism fatigue and all of those stuff, to maybe start to make sense

that’s how to prevent the fully-powered cartridge automatic rifles spam, and make the intermediate-cartridge launchers more reasonable: make all of the bullet dangerous enough. but it’s too complicated for df at least for now…

well, when your engine and the track got damaged at the same time, you would feel the pain.
it actually takes longer cuz tanker need to jerking around the tank like a clown to aim and repair different parts without cover

I was just stating the only scenario I have actually experienced so far…which was a positive. (and if it was track and engine at same time, both you can repair from behind, and would probably still take less time than before)

Fully understand that if my turret ring, breach and barrel are out, fat chance I will be repairing mid battle (better hope can still drive away). Stated this when it was announced.

Im just not terribly upset about it (just yet) because the amount of times I have to repair is soo minimal anyway. (most deaths are just straight up explode from bomb)

It certainly brings a whole new value to repair perks and extinguishing.

The new repair function makes my tanks completely afraid to approach the front line
When my gun barrel or track is damaged, there is absolutely no possibility of repairing it.
You get out of the car and you’re shot instantly
It would be too sad if the role of tanks was just to hide in a gray area and fire spam.

Most of you losers are in the grey zone anyways, so what’s driving off behind some building to do full repairs going to hurt you?

Sorry I disagree, now tanks have to be more tactical and thinking about location and what to repair etc it is much fast doing individual components and you can totally or partially repair stuff and I really like that! It should stay imho

this mechanics is annoying for now, but if they reduce explosives damage to tanks and increase maps, it will suit good imo

You can go left or go right* or go center. So many tactical oportunities!

*Going left or right may or may not be possible on certain maps. Use with caution.

hahahahah accurate as hell, but really, they CAN adopt those mechanics if battle zones, cap zones and cap time get increased. both sections of forum already ask a lot about too fast gameplay on sandbox-like maps

you might go ez yourself onto enemy arty or dozens of MGs in Normandy, yay!

in some maps at pacific and moscow they INCREASED greyzone to block rear routes lol. even devs are vlearly allergic to any flanking and some clowns still insist “MuH tAcTical pLAY”
