*The grenade throwing skill is truely overpowered.
*I have been playing this game since cbt, and almost reached full level for most of the campaigns. From what I have experienced so far, in intensive fights between end game player-squads, people have been just endlessly throwing grenades/explosives to each other from a distance around 70m .Most of the enemy squad members (sometimes a whole squad or several squads) will be wiped out instantly before getting in face to face combat. In this sense, it made peoples’ end game weapons almost useless in these intensive fights.
*Besides, it is really to toooo cheap for having such a tough skill------ only 6 strength. This made the grenadiers capable of having other good skills such as reloading or even vertical recoil control together with the grenade skill. This economic issue certainly add points for braking normal players’ gameplay experience.
Lastly, some people may say the grenade skills are beneficial to new players. However this is not true ! To arm a fully geared grenadier squad, it requires people to reach at least lv18. Also the amount of silver orders will be so much that only end game players can afford. The toughness of such skill has in reality add more room for bully between endgame players and new players. The words above are not simply my own prejudice. They came not only from my daily gameplay experience, but also my observations in several big (500 to 1000) Chinese play communities. Most of the end game players would keep at least one grenadier squad (for example: 9fg42/2+big grenade pouch)for each side of each campaign. Some of them even have 3 grenadier squads for each side, WHAT A BULLY FOR OTHER PLAYERS!!! And the most terrifying thing is the mechanism behind all this: People being bullied by grenadier teams will certainly join the side of grenadiers in order to win. This have eventually made the situation worsen.
*I believe end game battle being so unified is not the purpose of the developers, So please readjust the toughness or the cost of having grenade throwing skills.
Normally people can only throw their grenades for around 30m, which made throwing grenades back available. But if people have the grenade throwing skills , they kill each other before get into contact. When people see the grenade fall next to their feet, they can’t even figure out where it came from. This made the situation becoming a single side bully.
Grenade throwing perk isn’t the problem… Nor there’s any problem at all. If someone “cook” his Grenade before throwing it, you won’t have time to pick it back even if the thrower did not have throwing perk.
The source of pretty much all problem game has. It is overpowered because there’re being overused. If one or two soldiers per squad as grenadier it is ok, but the whole entire squad spamming explosives it is a problem.
The distance matters! .
Most of the gunfight of this game happen within 50m, so throwing a nade in this distance is not problematic.
BUT 70m is so different with 30m. In some cases this means people can throw grenades from their spawn to the center of the point.
Soldiers are becoming mortars if they can throw 27 nades from around 70m.
Absolutely! Many capture points of this game are in open areas, it would be really a hell for soldiers defending the point if 27 grenades(the maximum amount carried by a group of 9 grenadiers.) drop into the site.
Some guys throwing expack 100+ meters. Forum members say, that is a glith, related to the perk (actually, didn`t work without having this perk). To activate glitch you might throwing grenade with hotkey during jump. Once guy send me grenade on 150+ meters plus elevation.
Actually, it is not that there is no solution. I will press X to let my team members stand by at a little distance and then explore the road by myself, or I will distance myself from my team members with a quick charge, which can greatly avoid such casualties. Of course, I don’t want to give up my big ammunition bag, which will make my ammunition not enough at all, rather than carrying three explosive packs or grenades. Carrying three grenades is only of practical value to the 9-person infantry team. To put it bluntly, bringing more grenades means that the team has insufficient firepower, which may already be a kind of balance. Actually, I have plenty of ways to kill a dozen or more infantry with one of my commandos or machine gunners. I don’t mind it. It’s just another option. Any one of us can change into an infantry team to be a grenadier when we are tired of using commandos or machine gunners. This is also a kind of fun. Why should we make it disappear?
