PPS42 and Beretta M38 are almost identical in each attribute, and PPS43 has better fire speed and loading speed.
PPS42 is in BR2, which is understandable, but PPS43 should not be in BR2. I support lowering a high-capacity submachine gun to BR3, such as PPD40 and PPD34/38. However, PPS43 should definitely not be in BR2.
The MP40 is completely unable to compete with the PPS43, as it has an extremely poor field of sight in aiming and a firing rate far lower than the 800 of the PPS43. There is no second submachine gun in any country, the BR2, that has both low recoil, a capacity of over 30 rounds, and an 800 firing rate,
I may agree with the PPS43 part, but please remember that the MG13 also crushed the Madson in performance.
The M38 performs very well at mid-range and cannot be placed in BR2, at least BR3.
M38 is overpowered compared to pps, because it does 0,1 more damage per bullet, hence the logical +2 tier.
Joke aside, there’s already too many great smgs in low tiers… Making fighting in low not that different from old Moscow regular campaign, save from drum magazines…
Beretta M38 is weird.
It is bscially an MP35/1 with less damage but slightly more rounds and rof, yet it is BRIV and not III.
The Mid-War variant is also only BRIII despite only having like 0.03 more dispersion and around 100 less rof.
like i said before… mp40 didnt need to go to BR2, it was pps42 and pps43 that needed to go to BR3. ppd34 should also maybe go to BR2 even though functionally it doesnt make any difference.
As I said in earlier threads, higher RoF isn’t always automatically a benefit, not to mention the 43 is worse than the 42 in regards of performance. The Beretta M38 is an absolute LASER of an SMG, there is zero reason to buff it in any way when it’s already the best 9mm SMG in the game aside from the Kiraly, though since the Kiraly is 9x25mm, I don’t count that.
The MP40 can land more hits at longer ranges whilst keeping your irons on target whereas the PPS43 will fling bullets all over and doesn’t possess as great of control due to higher RoF. Not to mention the 40’s higher damage retention and hitpower.
These things have PPSH-level RoF when fully upgraded on top of having higher hitpower. Not to mention, the OVP can be used as a pistol-caliber rifle when placed on semi-auto.
Like we’ve discussed before, this has been proven to be just false. The PPS SMGs are fine where they are.
With the most inaccurate Axis SMG?
Yeah, sure. Carbine have shittx accuracy, but not that bad. And that’s also the point of an auto weapon. To use it like a worse semi-auto.
you have not proven that pps42 or pps43 are worse than mp40
you have not proven why BY THE BULLET RECOIL is so different between pps42 and pps43 despite physics actually showing that pps43 should have lower recoil despite having shorter barrel. ROF doesnt play any factor here cause it is single shot recoil value and not recoil per second on full auto. also you mentioned barrel despite almost no change being made except pps43 getting shorter barrel. recoil is purely depended on mass of the weapon and not on shorter barrel.
here is the thing the pps aren’t as good as PPSH box, and the ppd is certainly the worst of 7 russian SMG, it’s also why chi-nu is br 4 because it’s the best of the jap tanks, and why the m4a276 is at br 5 since it’s more combat effective with somewhat trolly turret armor
you only think you did make a clear point, but you really didnt. you are just avoiding answering the recoil question cause you know that you are in wrong and cant make counter argument.
