Please make the planes fly like in War Thunder

The planes don’t fly like bricks, you probably misuse them and cannot into energy management.

That’s what we’ve been trying to tell him.

I can understand why this is suggested. I’ve been killed plenty by rockets while spawning. Therefore, I wouldn’t mind nerfing the armaments. But one thing that shouldn’t be nerfed is the armaments damage on tanks and engineer builds. Planes at the moment are very useful in dealing with tanks that are shooting at your spawn. Or AA guns on top of houses targeting cap zones or spawns(happens a lot in beloe lake conquest), or the multitudes of MG nests in D-Day map. Planes are sometimes the only way to take out a tank that is firing at spawn. If this aspect of planes is gone along with the other nerfs, then planes can do very little to impact the battle. I am not of the opinion that it should do a lot but it should be better than dropping a bomb blind and then relying on luck for it hit somthing that you were targeting. But then not doing enough damage even if it did.

I don’t expect the game to turn into it either. For realistic planes, the devs will have to code how the air reacts to the plane and it’s control surfaces for different speeds. And how things like flaps and gear change this. Also how damage affects the same. It’s not an area I want the devs to spend time on because it will frustrate pretty much the whole player base.
But one thing that I want to see introduced is input delay. Even modern planes don’t react to controls as fast as they do in Enlisted. In WW II planes it should take a while at the least for the hydraulics to kick in and do something. This will also help smoothen out the movement of planes. Makes it slightly more difficult for maneuvers. Meaning you’ll have to be extra careful when diving.

Absolutely agree there 100%. When I think of the historical use of planes it’s primarily as a moral effect but the primary role of attack aircraft is that of AT and Anti-Fortification. I should mention I would approve of a buff to AA guns to help nerf planes a bit as well. My preference is to higher fire-rate with more ammunition to deny approach lanes.

I’d have to see this tested because it starts to come up against my hopes for more ergonomic playability here but I’ll defer to your suggestion if you think it would make the flight smoother.

Heres a bit of helpful advice: Shut up. Stop complaining about nothing. LITERALLY LEARN TO PLAY. There. No sugarcoating. Planes are easy and you act like they are impossible to fly. I fly them all the time and they just need some tweaking, not massive handholding.

Generally just moving the spawns further away will be good enough to prevent that initial spawncamp.

Other than that, a nerf to the Bf110’s armaments should do the rest.

Yes it would lol, piltos got 360 degree view and what they are fighting will have 90? So pilots can see the enemy from any point in the said zone but ground units need to turn around just to find the pilot? also, if you crash every time its skill issue/L2P…

And like Tcat said every thing is first peron planes shouldnt be different.

No one playing enlisted is getting into a plane to do so while they are at home.

Historical ergonomics as they may have existed is a nonsense argument.

Is it just my settings or does the plane rock from side to side for everyone ? I find when diving down for a strafing run, the plane starts jerking from side to side making it impossible to aim properly. Any fixes ??

Has anyone else had this issue? I use WS for pitch and AD for yaw, and the planes handle fine for pitching - but if I roll with A or D and then try to turn by pitching back, the planes invariably lose altitude and crash straight into the ground. Even if I pull out of the role and try to level off, they still drop like bricks, as though the engine were cut or something. Anyone else have this?

See my below comment - when I do this (roll to turn and then pitch back) the planes immediately lose altitude and crash, even if I try to level off. Have you had this?
