You are righty in this statement except for Enlisted at this stage of its development. They obviously have been added into the game as a side attraction for some but honestly who wants to fly a BRICK and moreover, fly above the REAL action. I would prefer that the developers devote their time and energy on the real guts of the game.
Which we are suggesting to get fixed
Again, not up to you to decide what the most attractive part of the game is. I actually quite enjoy Enlistedâs planes, which I do not enjoy them in War Thunder. I sometimes just spend an entire match relaxing up in the skies, not having to worry about P2W SMGs or LMGs.
Infantry is already getting significantly more development time. Mind you, not even the 3d models for vehicles ingame rn are made by the dev team. They are copy-pasted from War Thunder. Same with most of the flight mechanics.
Heh, heh, you remind me of an officer I once had, always went missing when the shit hit the fan Anyway, its great to have friendly banter and let us both hope that Enlisted succeeds. In the meantime I will attend flying school
There is no hope left
Why do you say that?
What other games are better and why?
At this point, any game. The amount of paid functions in this game is just⌠Horrible. This game will become as popular as CRSED in a couple of months
What an original idea I never would have thought about. I just want more visibility.
Youâre welcome, I hope it helps you, man!
It wouldnât break the game it would just add visibility. And you can sacrifice some realism for a more ergonomic player experience. For instance I donât think people just appeared out of nowhere and charged objectives in WW2. And I know for certain that Field engineers didnât carry 10 rolls of barbed wire with enough sandbags plus an MG-42. But itâs good for playability.
Youâre probably right but from my experience they are certainly more difficult approaches. Of course if you start at 600m and only dive to 200m youâre never going to crash. I just want to be able to see what Iâm trying to dive on.
He means immersion.
Everything in this game is first person. Pilots have no reason to be different.
Yeah thatâs how youâre supposed to be diving.
I mean Iâd suggest the same thing for tankers who have the audacity to already be open unprotected. As in they already have the commander out of the hatch. Itâs just to allow people to see and move more fluidly.
Stop using inexperience to justify hating a good suggestion. Anyone is going to be good at something they spend a lot of time on. I just want people to feel like playing planes is fun without as steep of a learning curve.
That doesnât make any sense, itâs as much of a learn-to-play issue as not blowing yourself up with grenades.
If only flying in 3rd person came with a downside like easily getting sniped out of the commanderâs hatch with tanks.
It is a bad suggestion. Inexperience is merely one of the reasons why it is bad.
All of this could be solved by not being bad at the game.
First person adds a lot to the immersion and makes dogfights a lot more fun than they have any right to be.
If thatâs the case Iâd love to hear your well thought out response as to why the planes in their current state are perfectly ergonomic for anyone who just casually hopped onto the game to try it for a couple days.
I am not saying they are ergonomic. I am saying that adding 3rd person view is a bad idea.
Iâd fix this with increased FoV and making the flight models more user friendly
aka, not dying if one thing turns yellow, and more maneuverable
They donât need to be, itâs a plane.
