Please give Soviets their own AT

Can the Soviets and Allies actually get decent AT Bomber equipment? I hate using the panzerfaust on Berlin, where is bazooka or or AT rifle?

Soviets never really had their own AT. Yes they had lend lease M1 bazookas but they couldnt penetrate the later German tanks very well. They did use alot of captured panzerfausts but there just isnt a great weapon to slide in there. The PTRS and PTRD are woefully inadequate in 1945 for shooting tanks

USSR captured panzerfausts by the absolute shitloads by the beginning of '45 and used them until the end of the war.

They must have had their own kit too, it’s just weird, on practice mode they have AT rifle

They used AT grenades, lend lease bazookas, and finally the strategic amounts of panzerfausts they captured as the German defenses collapsed 44-45

Soviet doctrine was alot of anti tank grenades, captured panzerfausts, AT guns and using tanks to fight tanks. They made their own “panzerfaust” post war called the RPG though

They actually did not.

They used either american bazooka or german panzerfausts. Plus a metric ton of anti-tank nades.

Don’t forget the mine dogs

Mine dogs? No way!

They trained them on T-34s so the dogs ended up just running for soviet tanks to blow up
So the project was canceled

Soviets in 1945 used more captured Panzerfausts than lend-lease bazookas. The lend-lease bazookas provided also did not have the more recent HEAT rounds in them, leading to the Panzerfausts being a considerably better anti-tank weapon than the Soviets otherwise had. Especially compared to the anti-tank rifles which had a maximum penetration of 35-40mm. Domestic production of a shaped charge anti-tank weapon would not reach production until the RPG-2, in 1954.

So the Soviets in Berlin having access to Panzerfausts is both historically accurate to what was generally available to the soldiers on the ground in that phase of the war, and is also the best they could be provided at the time, generally speaking, save other captured German anti-tank weapons, like the Panzershreck.

Hei bro i know the opposite but hei if you say this o watc the video

The stg wasn’t a unique idea, multiple countries were all experimenting with the idea of a select-fire intermediate rifle.

Just Germany was desperate and rushed adoption of everything while other countries could afford to wait.
