Please adjust the M1 and M1A1 Carbines

Give them roughly the same or similar recoil/kick profile as the VG1-5 so they’re actually useable outside of hipfire and pure CQC please
Especially the M1A1 on the para, that is honest to god worthless. The kick can be dealt with, but the dispersion makes it unusable outside of 5-10m
Please and thank you

It’s a low charge 30 carbine. It’s semi-auto and has a 15rd mag, 30rd mag on the M2. It’s fine. Headshots in 1 shot 25meters and closer and 2 at 25-50/60meters.

What do you think should be changed? Numbers wise. The base damage is pretty decent. Has a good range and holds its damage value at a decent distance for what it is.

How much more should the damage be? I’m curious as to what you think it should be.

M1A1 have a little too much recoil. Feels like I’m firing M1 Garand with damage from M1911 Colt.

Wow you’re right I didn’t put it in there

The recoil/kick and general dispersion are out of line for what it fires

Remove semi-auto rate of fire nerf

Yes, the recoil is INDEED a bit much. From firing the real M1carbine 1943 dated Winchester, it’s very LOW recoil and quick cycle rate for the op rod/bolt. The ability to “rapid fire” IRL is great, I can pull the trigger relatively quickly and get the 15rounds out faster than I could in Enlisted.

Maybe they should allow the ROF to increase by 10% and decrease the recoil by 5% than what it would be stock (as compared to 5 star upgraded).

Maybe that would work well? I think so. What do you think?

Afaik, both carbines have same dispersion and hipfire dispersion modifier values, M1A1 have twice as much
actual recoil, 29/11 to 14/5 on M1 version.

And yet it still had a higher firerate than the M1 Garand and other full size semi autos. So I would have to agree that this should be reflected in the game (same rate as M1 Garand or faster). It’s a pretty weak rifle so I don’t see it as gamebreaking in any way.

Maybe we can make a post about a suggestion for increased ROF for the M1 carbine line of rifles and a 5% decrease in recoil for the different stars/levels of the weapons.

They should fix the sights and stop intentionally making them bad for indirect gameplay balancing.

The entire dev team is getting mogged by a ten-dollar game (Easy Red 2) made by a single person. How long will they allow a low-budget game with a singular developer to mog them?

Dark flow was even mogged with the sights of the Lee Enfield NO.4 Mk1.

I wonder if I will get suspended again for asking for the gunsights in Enlisted to be fixed again.

M1 carbine needs to look to the beretta 1918/30 for its handling/rof adjustments…that feels like an m1 carbine should…(IMO)

and the 1918/30 was BR 1 Im pretty sure lolol. I loved that thing so much

This.

Plus change the dogshit sites on the Thompsons or drastically reduce visual recoil across the board.

I mean, at least Lee-Enfield is fine-ish… Now, M1 carbines (and I guess M2 based on the fact that it has the same irons as M1A1)…

All they need is a faster rate of fire, their super low damage per shot simply don’t work with a slow firing semi auto.

Everything about this gun desperately screams “useless”

It’s noticeably better when you upgrade it, then you can make one hit kills up to medium range with a headshot. But… yeah. Still not great.

Why is that an argument? You can do one hit head shots with MP40s or basically every gun in the game - this can’t seriously be a redeeming quality for you

Yeah, M1 and other variants have terrible sights, just like most allied weapons.
Un?intentional nerf basically.
