I wonder if it would be possible to make so mines that are on an active objective are either limited in number or by time … where you could have unlimited, but they have to be on approach to an objective rather than inside an objective
I don’t know about you. . . but its a lot less frustrating to die to a mine on approach than when im fighting 1 v 5+ (including bots) on the objective at times.
From what I see, many ppl are against spaming AP mines on the objective. But also many pll are are ok with mining rally points.
I don’t understand this. Ppl are weird.
But if they won’t restrict them or making some kind of animation (a “timer”) to prep one mine to prevent spam; I rather want them removed to be honest.
Not gonna miss them for one sec.
IMO, getting killed by an AP mined rally … the anger is more to the team for not defending the rally (and that includes me) where AP Mine spam on an objective “limits” movement while in the heat of a gunfight. In a game where you are often the only 1 or 2 players actually clearing an objective … it just ads to the frustration in those games.
The thing is that they can be easily exploited for cheap kills.
For example, spamming an excessive amount of them randomly on objectives when defending. I’ve encountered CCs who have done this. Literally the worst experience I’ve had in this game.
In my yesterday’s game i placed a mine on enemy rally point and died immediately right after but my mine still worked. It just activated itself while i was respawning. It was ridiculous, all i did is dropped it like a stone.
Another great suggestion i can think of is for mines to deactivate if your squad that placed them all died. This way spamming mines with your other squads would be impossible.
