I would like to suggest a change for AP mines. I think the game would be more enjoyable as infantry if AP mines were not able to be spammed in such a large quantity. I think that a player should only be able to place 1 or 2 max at any time. Placing any more, will remove the first one placed, then the second and so on. I dont mind dying to the odd ap mine, or when a mine is defending a rally point or key position in a doorway. However, trying to take over a building while looking for enemies inside, and losing 3, 4, 5, 6, maybe more soldiers in my squad to ap mines is really frustrating. Its not enjoyable to play when one or multiple members of the enemy team began to spam AP mines all over the place. It makes the game feel claustrophobic to be killed by so many mines, and really slows down gameplay when you have to move incredibly slowly, while staring at the floor for hard to see, dug in traps. The absolute worst feeling in this game is triumphing over the enemy soldiers in a push onto a hard fought objective, killing all the enemy inside, and then quickly watching everyone lose all their soldiers to the floor full of mines and basically resetting the entire push.
another cry, NO, mines are OK as they are, problem are people like you and all who complain about them, learn about map pathing and how to disable them with exposible, are the mines invisible due they are hidden due a rock?, as I said above: MAP knowledge, mines aren’t OP as people think, it’s basically skill issue
No one is saying mines are OP, they are just an incredibly unfun experience and ruin the flow of the game with zero drawbacks. There needs to be a balancing factor.

I wonder what happened that a lot of clan members are asking for an adjustment for AP mine?
there was a post from U45N-Uberwaflja in which he asked the same just curious anyhow i dont like AP mines either they dont require any skill I would like them to be adjusted maybe add an animation
they should add a Mine Bag so i can carry 4 AP mines per soldier
you spoke with a support, I don’t care, look at them, but be warned, a support can do stuff and I will tell, I am a mine user and I know how to deal them because knowing how they work I know how avoid them


a much better solution is having only 1 AP and 1 AT mine per squad. disappearing mines is completely annoying to use. limited mine quantity that is tied to tickets makes much more sense from game design & historical reasons

I think I exploded ONCE due to a very cleverly placed mine in a chokepoint. I was so surprised and impressed, that instead of being upset I wanted to commend the player who placed it, congratulate him

If you support players once put your foot on the objective you’d notice the extreme annoyance of AP mine.
it’s just boring and has no counter-play. Too easy to “abuse”. You don’t have time to watch out for mines in every doorway, stairs etc.
This is what two players can cause you in one single game.
If you face 5-10 players this is an issue far worse, making it almost unplayable.

I find AT mines are very good for the pacific with all the bridges and river crossings
AT mines I respect. because they are rare and need smarts to use correctly. unlike AP mines, just spammed while running around, without further thought.
even the animation sucks. literally just drop it… When everyone know how dangerous those are when not careful

Certain groups often call anything that can easily kill them spam and unfair due to their own lack of skills.
That’s a way of rationalizing incompetence.

Sorry but whats the point of asking ““stats”” like they metter if a large n° of the player base team up with friend and zerg rush the enemy team ?

If you claim “skill issue”, you better to have something to back it up.
AP mines ruin the flow of the game, and for the ones that sink into the floor, are going to be nearly invisible with the lighting changes. It’s a crutch for players that can’t shoot a gun.
I made the same suggestion, probably one year ago but tossed out 3 as a max per player.
Honestly, I’d be OK with 1 or 2 per player. They seem to be getting more and more out of control and aren’t much fun.
They are fine. How about paying more attention to surroundings than making a post like this.
Do you pause every time you are going around a corner or up some stairs to search for mines? Do you throw grenades into every room before entering?
I look for mines and am cautious of them but when you run in to a true mine spammer, it’s pretty awful. One player can lay down 9 with one squad and many more if they are motivated. If a stack is motivated, they can spam so many mines it’s not worth counting.
This is not fun.
Pretending it’s a skill issue is embarrassing.
