Before mod editor was released I wanted to make a map where german grey zone will look like swastika, and allies will have star-shaped one.
Guess I have to make it.

I suggest to change allaies and german control point icon with white/red star and swastica
First of all, whole Germany was responsible for their atrocities.
Second of all USSR and Western Allies did commit war crimes, tolerated Nazi regime before war and after war cooperated with remnants of Nazi regime.
So, I donât see any reason why we canât play historicly accurate game. Even more, I rather not willing to give up crimes and whiten up history as just war between Germany and Ex-Russia

The war crimes vs conscripted criminals discussion around Penal Battalions will get itself tangled up pretty quickly. There is a distinction in my view, but its a moot point in the end - thatâs not what I wanted to discuss anyway.
The key point I was considering was more about the potential implementation of an inferior class of troops, but given that Ostruppen units are technically already implemented the Normandy campaign, its effectively already a skin anyway.
Well, I was thinking about some special voices. OstTruppen could be speaking in Russian, while penal battalions would have few additional lines reffering to their assignment
Given that theyâre just using a unit designation approach, this is sill feasible. It would go hand in glove with unit cosmetics. If they allowed players to make the various squads more historical with additional layers of detail, it would certainly work well. Hopefully not behind too much of a paywall.

Yeah, but they speak in Russian or other Soviet language. Also I apreciate your idea of premium squads as they might be more fun
if theyâre Premium, youâll have a higher chance of getting the level of detail that youâre after.

Itâs funny saying this in the middle of an event giving 2 avatars, 2 unique fully equipped squads, a gold order, a unique max star tank, boosters. 
Sure, the things they SELL are overpriced (premiums and cosmetics) but they give lots of stuff at the same time⌠Itâs like they cannot reach middle ground.
