I have returned to see if anything feels better after the big update but it looks like it’s just more explosive spam which is not what this game needed. I desperately want this game to succeed because it has such a great base to build off of but the devs are really shooting themselves in the foot here. They implement things that the community specifically doesn’t want and they just completely refuse to listen. For a game to succeed, you need the playerbase to enjoy the game rather than begging and pleading for basic things. Forgot the name but someone even went out of their way to take a poll to see what people wanted. Why haven’t the devs done that?

Ya, reminds me of Dead by Daylight devs. It sucks though cause this game could be so damn good but the devs are instead too busy pushing out premium squads instead of making the game enjoyable. What I don’t get is that they don’t seem to understand that making the game better and in turn more popular then they will bring in more money. It’s common sense.

They increased shellshock dramatically some time ago, thank god they reversed it. More premium squads is not what the game needed. Bombing runs in all campaigns is cancer. Now I can go all day on shit they refuse to change/add that is CONSTANTLY requested in forums.

The Shellshock up was during Stalingrad released. It was soon reversed because the problem was they just add the penetration of the shock though walls, and friendly.
It was logical, but it needed to be ajusted. It was indeed impossible to play.
They just decrease the radius and the shock time and it’s good now.
Bombing runs has been requested in the forum. They tested it in Stalingrad, then put in the pacific, then in every campaign. They also increased the global cooldown of bombers in the Big caliber update.
More Premium squad?
Imo I don’t care about premium squads, they are worst than regular squads. They do not impact the gameplay experience.

I have only seen people complain about bombing runs. Also, the shellshock issue was not just going through walls. The time you were shellshocked was pretty much doubled which is insanity. At that time, I saw most people asking for shellshock to be reduced so to add that feature is just mindblowing.

The most pressing issue since 6 month was new maps for Stalingrad.
Now it’s becoming the campaign revamping. But with Stalingrad we can all agree it needed it.

Uh no. Matchmaking is by far the biggest problem with this game right now. New maps for Stalingrad is just one campaign, matchmaking would make every campaign more bearable.

the problem with match making is that you have toxic competitive players, competent players and casuals
Ok but the alternative, no matchmaking, is for one side to get absolutely stomped. I’d rather deal with those players than to be put in a match where one side has no hope of winning every single time. At the very least make a PvE mode
The only mistakes DF made since I play the game are in my opinion:
- Semi auto nerf (it has since been up)
- Stalingrad release (it shouldn’t have came that early, or should have been merged with Berlin or Moscow, shoudn’t have been monetized like this)
- Confrontation mod on big maps (like tunisia tatoine)
- Dispertion “ghost nerf?” (it feel so much more difficult to use MG’s now)
- Moscow power creep (ultra powerfull SMG, T50 gold order as soon as lvl1, same weapon as the last game in berlin etc…)
The rest of the thing implemented is just perfect in this game or has been quickly fixed (ex: shellshock, AAA gun…)
A solution for the playerbase and grind should be studyied tho.
(Matchmaking? Campaign revamp? Fronts? Tech Tree?.. etc)
The second problem is the AI, but it’s getting better and better since one year.
