Playing alone is depressing... Fix the matchmaking

I think the image is self explanatory, It might be for the best to

lenghten the matchmaking to avoid players the agony of playing against a full squad with bots as companions…

Unless you double checked that everyone is a bot, it could be real teammates. If someone didn’t get a medal doesn’t mean it’s a bot. Bots can get medals too, such as first in team, best riflemen, ranged master, and tactician.

It’s axis Berlin. He was the only one… :stuck_out_tongue:

Nothing in that pic proves anything except the other team was better.

Now, its quite possible people were multi-boxing, but that’s a far cry from botting.

Every member of OP’s team, and #10 of the other team, is a bot. You can search their names to add as friends and they don’t show up. Axis Berlin normally has less than a couple hundred players

Well, they should start something with this because it’s starting to go into a ridiculous category.

what i don’t get is…

when there was the tiger for the first time in enlisted ( on berlin )
( and also competitive event )

there was a stacked large playerbase present both in berlin and normandy for the axis side.

where are they now?

for real, the only tigers i see, are occasionally on normandy.

:frowning:

Check for bots on start of the round, if You are quick enaugh and check scoreboard before match starts, You will see all players already in session.

So once wait time is up, empty slots in axis team will be filled up with bots.
Players will be thrown in started matches so You will see 10+players on start, so they usually join after losing already first point and will likely desert anyway.

Straight up don’t play axis moscow/berlin right now, 95% of matches have 10 soviets stomping 8 bots and some clueless kid on console.

That’s the point. The boring gear. Not bad, just boring. Same as Normandy. When Tiger came in it was interesting, so they played with it a bit but then that’s it. One new tool is not redemption. Someone was hardly interested in mp43 and another bf109 variant. That’s why no players came back then. If I had to guess, now comes Tiger 2 (P) and some small arms that might bring the axis players back for another 2-3 weeks, and that’s it. And if you don’t have the charm of the new device anymore, what to suffer from the endless waves of ppsh and fedorov?

normandy axis is populated…

Yes. And what you think, why? On the one hand, it is an older campaign. People don’t even like to play hundreds of battles to grind out the same equipment. Most people have no time for this. Not even with a premium. So he prefers to stay in his own comfort zone for the little time he has to play.
On the other hand, If you could choose to fight the Soviet ppsh / t-34-85 or the American thomson and sherman, with almost the same equipment, what would you choose? Where do you think you could do better in battles? That’s the difference. In vain is the same equipment. The enemy is not the same. It also doesn’t help that this has become a self-exciting process. They don’t play with him because it’s bad to play with. But it’s bad to play with because there’s no player. The circle is closed.
And this round of 1-2 new levels every 3 months (which is just maybe interesting) won’t break. Some more serious intervention is already needed here.
But I feel like there’s no intention in the development guys for that. Not now. So the axis remains suffering, or that you avoid Berlin.

Normandy is more interesting because

  1. The campaign setting is not as sad for the Axis, no one wants to play Berlin, where the atmosphere tells you “you will die under the red wave”
  2. Normandy became public sooner. That’s how I got into it. Why would I want Berlin for the Axis? Same weapons, but stupid uncomfortable maps for tanks.
  3. Normandy got legendary stuff earlier. The same Mp43 appeared there before Berlin. FG42 was also already there when Berlin was still in the closed version
  4. Normandy maps imho better. They are more open, diverse. In Berlin I catch claustrophobia.
  5. The herd effect of “Oh no allies suffer” and the opening of Tunis. Many strong Allied players went there, thus leaving the newcomers to play against strong Axis players.

I now encounter 36 level allies as often as Axis, have seen many players from top 20 events for allies. So Allies are not weak, otherwise the top players didn’t play for them.

  1. “And if you don’t have the charm of the new device anymore, what to suffer from the endless waves of ppsh and fedorov?”
  2. “On the one hand, it is an older campaign.”
  3. “Same as Normandy.”
  4. I completely agree. Closed maps if you are playing on a constant are confusing.
  5. I’m grinding Tunisia now. I see signs of what you’re saying.

So, on the whole, we agree, at most we put the same problem differently.

I just described the experience for myself. I only play there because I started there. And grinding the Axis a second time is lazy. In all other campaigns I play as allies

Gone, for a variety of reasons, the most likely and prominent of which is the grind. I would bet big money that the majority of players don’t reach level 20, let alone the 30+ required for something like the Tiger. I’ve done polls on youtube before and there is a massive drop off between people who’s max campaign rank is 10-20 and those who’s max is 20+. People simply don’t want to grind for 100 hours when they can just go play another game. Devs/Gaijin treat Enlisted like it’s War Thunder and they have no competition, but the reality is that Enlisted exists in the most crowded genre in all of gaming.
