That was a mistake on my understanding of the situation, I was only able to go on what people had told me and that was grossly incorrect it seems.
Or I misunderstood. Either way.
i payed accodingly to my gameplay. i know more or less how much gameplay time i needed to level up each campaign. i managed to maxed up 5 out 8 sides of campaigns with 2 months of premium. payed bp since the beggining as it seems quite necessary. the other 3 sides of campaigns left i dont count them cause i was already level 20 in them. now that im maxed out everywhere i dont pay anymore cause all i wanted are the weapons and certain squads that are already at max.
1- Are you happy with them?
i would be
, when i could equipp them all + Free Squads but its impossible with only 10 Squad Places.
2- How many do you guys own?
Only 27 because i dont need Airplanes or so much Tanks, Play more Infanterie and got them all.
Except few…
Premium- Pioneer-Squads in Moscow are Useless because you got a Engineer2 with that MG-Squads.
also the German Pioneer Squad in Normandie with G41… Sry but regular Engi Squad with FG42 is Better.
American Pioneer Squad is more Worth it:
Super Camoflage Kampfanzug, Nice Gun.
3- If you could change something in them, what would be?
Premium units interchangeable with each other Premium Unit
maybe if you change a Premium Soldier to another Premium Troop. they change their Clothes too.
then it would make Sense to buy all of them.
But i hope they will give finally a Customize-Corner where we can do what we want.
4-do you feel they are balanced at current state?
All 4 man squads are clearly at a disadvantage.
5 men don’t make it any better either.
A Hit is a Hit, it doesnt matter with which Gun you Hit.
But without Pioneer you Loose.
5-do you use them over a free variant (always, most times, not at all?)
Most Times, but have too little space. to Equipp them
so mostly i got 25-50% equippt from that what i bought.
6-do you consider them pay to win? Broken? Underpowered? (other?)
Enlisted should keep its hardcore aspect, Then is nothing OP-UP.
The shitty Fortnite Kids would leave Enlisted and we are all Happy together
that’s because of the Haters and Freibiergesichter
you only get as an Answer:
again a premium Threat who asks for Buff
–Pistol shoots in Head Smiley–
My Oppinion is, they shouldn’t have an opinion.
Pay Premium Battlepass or be quiet.
8 hours of thought and hopefully found the right words…
I’ll remember the rest tonight in Bed.
I am happy about every Premium Threat that is written and opened.
One of the Best, makes @ErikaKalkbrenner
See you all in Hell
@Shiivex Thank you for this Possibility.
Very difficult to say, well when I rate something in a game, I will always compare it to the best viable option there is, also I am an Axis main, so take my words with two grains of salt since I dont know too much about the Allies arsenal.
So lets compare the Moscow MG squad to the best infantry options that you could pick:
Firstly the best weapon at this moment is without a doubt the sniper STG prototype, however since it is only available to Snipers its kinda difficult to “pick” the best option, in fact im still trying to figure out the best way to make the best squad setup in Moscow. On other campaigns just picking the STG on assault or spamming FG42 for regular troopers is the way to go.
Now “IF” said MG squad would be available on Berlin instead I would say it would not be OP compared to regular options, at least “firepower” wise because – > ““having 5 soldiers all with an MG”” vs ““7 soldiers but only 3 of them having a MG”” is not gonna be a problem, since all the rest of the regular squad will get a FG42 anyways.
So on other campaigns I would even say that this particular MG premium squad would be underperforming, regardless of its Pioneers ability to build everything like a regular pioneer squad member.
On moscow however I would say that this squad is overperforming because of two things in particular:
- regular troopers have less value because there is no select fire weapon option like the FG42
- the pioneers ability to build AT guns can come in handy since there are not Panzerfausts in Moscow and being able to deal with T50s is a great value.
Now now, besides all that being said the real reason why I personally consider this unit “pay to win” even tho its performance issnt super insane, is the fact that the Pioneer can carry a MG and can build stuff from a pioneer squad. This alone is breaking the “logic” of balance, since there is no reason why this particular unit should be able to do something other units cant do, its the combination of 2 squad types that brakes the balance.
So if you ask me what I personally would change , I must say that ALL premium infantry squads need access to pioneers and the ability for this particular squad at being both an engineer and mg squad needs to be reworked "OR this squad needs a different type of drawback to it in order to justify its abilities.
Overall I would prefer if prem squads would be just like regular squads, in order to keep the balance “uncomplicated”,
Pick and choose so to speak but with the special weapons and cosmetics.
I haven’t spent a cent on the game so far (even though I wanted to) because of a few reasons:
-
Premium squads at first in CBT were OP or at least not fair. Now after overnerf they are underpowered. Just make their composition 1:1 as free squads. Why is it so hard?!
Edit: And please stop this bullshit named engineer II abilities in the gunner squad + LMG for engineer. I have no idea what idiot thought it’s a good idea and why anyone in DF agreed to this.
-
Price of premium squads is absurde. I’d rather buy myself a full game for this price (which is what I did).
-
Premium time and battlepass in my case are pointless. I play 1-2 games a day, not everyday so any time related thing is worthless.
There are also other reasons but I’d call them personal and as such they have 0 value.
Things I’d be interested in buying:
- Battle xp boost. Similar to xp boosts we can get in BP but without time limit, only number of battles lmit.
- Extra squad slots. I’d like to buy them “solo” but now I’m forced to buy premium to get them.
- Premium squads. But they must be basically a reskin of f2p squads with fancy yet not OP weapon and have a normal price.
I could get over it and waste my money and for example buy premium to get squad slots. But this is not charity, this is business. And as such I expect to get good value for my money.
Hard question… I like using them, but either they are lacking specialist manpower, or providing them such would result into having 5 gunners in a squad which is no go for me.
When I play with them, I usually do just fine in the field of their role (for example, PPK41 is by no means inferior to PPDs, it is just kinda different), they are very comfortable in handling.
7 in total.
2 in Moscow (CBT ones)
3 in Normandy (old LMG squads + MP 18)
2 in Tunis (CBT Riders)
Their composition needs to exactly mirror free squads (including weaponry equipped by additional specialist… you won´t find much success on me with 5+ gunners/assaulters that can build like engineer 2 squad on top of it).
Thanks to their handling, they are ideal for new players, but for veterans (in their current state) the only advantage comes with a bit different (and more careful perhaps) gameplay to break routine.
They are balanced in terms of weaponry (especially since they lack manpower in return), but inferior to free squads when it comes to composition. The exception are new LMG squads that are way too good in comparison because of pretty much having 5 gunners. That can be easily fixed by removing engineer´s LMG.
Of course, Tunisia riders are straight up inferior to anything.
Sometimes, when I want to have a bit of different fun and break the routine. But since I have only 3 infantry slots, I´m restricted from using them more often for the sake of my team (every squad I have leveled up have engineer) and training new squads.
“Other” is the best word. Aside of new LMG squads that I consider straight up unfair and close to P2W, they are kinda stuck in the void.
That is, because they are very capable (aside of drivers in Tunisia that I find to be disapointing), but most reasonable or veteran players who do not have slots prefer taking free version with engineer instead, because of the need to have more than 1 role in the squad.
Also…
Yes. Enlisted is already full of microtransactions (there is pretty much nothing you can´t buy). Overpricing premium squads by large margin is not necessary.
Oky, sit down lil Billy, time to tell you my story :
I currently own 8 of them ( 1 on each side for each campaign ).
I used to love them then they got hit with the uniform resets due to scuffed updates.
I still used to love them after that but then they released the Lewis/MG13 squad that broke any premium to premium rules of balance and made every other premium squad in past & current existence obsolete.
They killed all my apetite of playing, buying, maintaining and care about any Premium Squad.
Uncle shiiv
- Well yes but actually no. That new premium squads get engeneers and the old ones dont is not a great thing, every premium squads needs at least an engeneer (also mentioning that they got less men than free squads)
- I own 5. Infantry squad for the soviets in berlin and the beta assaulter, chauchat, akt40 and the other assaulter squad i cant remember the name of because its incredubly worse with the mps with only 21 bullets for the soviets in moscow.
- Add one engeneer to every premium squad / make them the same as free squads (compositition)
- They are way underpowered in terms of men, the guns are not bad
- I dont use premium squads in squads mode anymore because they are way worse because they got no engeneer or are to less men compared to free squads
- They are way underpowered and overpriced
Final question: For using the uniforms or guns on other squads yes.
I am also waiting really really long for an update to premium squads…
Much appreciated.
I ill also add my side on the answer since I didn’t on the original post.
I do own 35-40 premium squads of all kinds on all campaigns. And I only feel the ones worth are the tank squads across berlin, and normandy / early Tunisia early Moscow.
I do fell tho, they should deserve a engineer Atleast or some kind of rework, and I ill keep pushing this untill either they are reworked or an answer why not is stated.
I ill probably buy more as the time goes, for sure, I do collect and suport games I do play on regular basis, specially when I waste so many hours in them, but sadly there isn’t much reason to play with one over a normal squad.
Are they worth? No.
Are they unique? Yes, most of them are, but the performance a player can get with one in-game is lackluster at best…
I ill at all costs avoid getting squads like the 5 man MG one. It’s against what I want in them.
A balanced squad worth picking up and fight with.
Right now. No, they are not worth over a normal squad…
Do I Want my/our toys to be better?
Of course, but not beyond what a free to play squad can.
Sad Shiivex, is still sad.
I. For sure understand the pay 2 win and why some things are as they are, but cutting what a player investing in the game so much its beyond reasonable to me.
Why, we, the ones that support the f2p model get something so cutted so a player that won’t, can’t or choose not to invest, be happy about it is beyond my understanding…
Would you like to answer the questions presented in the original post?
Either the first part if you own them,
Or the second part if you don’t and why?
Thank you in advance.
regarding your answer.
i will gentle remind you that the premium b.a.r have the same power as a normal one fully upgraded
i dont have a A2 fully upgraded:
but the recoil its on par with the premium ones.
so i would say “they are the same” .
Oh boy. One of my biggest (financial) mistakes in the past years.
1+2. Depends. I’m still happy about BA, Commie Sherman, MP41, Berlin engies, PPK41, MG30 and partly Firefly. Rest is either meh, bouhgt on sale for some reason and/ or bought to grind.
Moscow:
- CBT SMG:
Happy. Imo the best guns in the game combined with cool uniforms and good perks at the start. Always prefer them over free SMG squads.
- CBT MG:
First bough the MG30, then Chauchat during sale. MG30 is well known for being OP. Chauchat is meh. Pure meh. Worse than Madsen.
- BA-11:
The well known broken and removed tank from early CBT. Bought it due to my old days in HnG with the BA there. Also outstanding since Germans always aim for the engine while being fast and as deadly as the BT/T-26. Still good nowadays.
- Panzer 38t:
Bought during sale. Good mid-term tank, can even harm the T-50 if used properly and protects well against At rifles. Okay otherwise. Wouldn’t buy it unless it’s on sale.
- Free SMGs (PPT and Beretta).
Bought from sale. Beretta is cool, PPT is PPD box. Suffers long-game wise as they are not as good as MP41/ PPK and no squad tree.
- Engineer MG:
Received as “present”. OP. Nerf it and give it MG squad setup.
- BF109 U2:
Don’t know why I bought that. Meh. Only fly it because it’s a unicorn.
Normandy:
- M2 Hyde:
Sole CBT I bought for France. Meh. M2 Hyde is meh.
- M3 field and MP18:
Bought to help my grind. M3 is basically normal M3 and MP18 sucks. Just buy it to grind a bit.
- MG squads:
Bought it back at the start of OBT. Outstanding, especially the German one.
- M1941 and G41:
Bought it to help my grind. Germans are okay, hate the Johnson for some reason. Tier II is helpful otherwise if you do not wish to grind the Tier II Engineer squad.
- Firefly and Panzer IV J:
Another gift for some reason. Firefly is my favorite. Very good AT performance, armor can be a pain in the ass for Germans if angled. J… couldn’t care less.
6: Panzer III M:
Okay. Fast enough to dodge infantry, good reload time and normal cannon. Armor can help too. Mix of Puma and IV. Also SS-tank squad. At the end also some sort of trophy.
Berlin:
- Assaulter squads:
Bought them during sale.MP40 is weird. PPD is cool at the beginning, but nothing more than a grind maker.
- Engineer squads:
Same as engineers in Normandy.
- Soviet M4:
Bought it at the beginning of OBT. IMO better than T-34 as it is slightly better against infantry and Panzer IVs. Can compete with the Panther but at the end similar to U2. A trophy.
- M44 and Leber.
Bought Leber because it’s a VS squad with cool uniforms and “low” price. Rifle squads are okay, but are already UP in midgame-stage.
Africa:
- Premium M13:
Okay. M13 is pretty good to decent against all Allied tanks and infantry.
- Sten and FNAB:
FNAB is basically StG for Itals Itals in Africa. Not on the same level as MP41, but still a very good squad for the money. Sten is still a bit unstable. Good at CQC but not on mid-range. Cool skins though. Good for grinding, but nothing else.
- Bike squads:
Was stupid enough to buy Africa CBT. Used them as engineers for poor until level 8 and rn as suicide squad against greyzone tanks. Better than normal bikes, but still not a good purchase.
- Ital rifle squad:
Similar to Leber in Berlin.
3.Give all squads normal/ free squad member layouts and remove MGs from non-MG classes.
4.The majority of them not.
5.BA-11, MP41, U2, PPK, Soviet M4, Firefly, Panzer 3 M., G-41 engineer, Berlin engineers, M13 and FNAB and Sten. Rest is grind meta.
6.5-men MGs are OP. Ba-11, Firefly and CBT Moscow SMGs are way better. Rest is either (slightly) better than free, even or worse.
by madsen you mean chauchat? right?
Yes. Thanks for that.
i do understand you here, but if the intend is to buy slots and only slots the single day premium is more than enough to buy 1 or any number of slots you want after.
atleast 110 gold for 1 day premium and 400 if i recall correcly for the first extra slot till 1990 on the 10th slot.
after the premium expire, you keep 9 slots avaiable forever.
I could do that but currently I wonder if I won’t dump all campaigns and focus all effort on tunesia as I have a lot of fun there. Untill I finally decide on my future campaign, thinking about buying slots is a waste of time.
most of them yes, and they are quite the same as their counterparts i must say, except for the tanks with apcr/heat rounds, but infantry pretty much the same
since normandy is my fav campaign i try to collect every vehicle/squad in game but have some for berlin and just got one for moscow aswell.
adding soldiers to most (even if not the premium weps) but for example the normandy falschrimjagers engineers are cool but a 4 men team is almost useless especially with FGs on the other engs, but on berlin the 4 men assault squad is in my opinion the best inf squad you can buy (soviets)
for vehicles i have no complaints apart from the disgusting camo on firefly and the lame factory yellow on the stug.
thats a 17th SS stug IV, at least give it a 3-tone camo
yes some more then others, in my opinion the firefly is a must have for US line up in normandy
not all, but most time i’d pick a premium over a standard one
i think they are on the level of end game and in the hands of someone competent they can be dangerous, but i see most used recklessly and destroyed within seconds (especially allied tanks Normandy)
i think they are a bit overpriced, but i like the game so i’m willing to invest
- wink wink devs camo for my stug <3 *
i would’t mind at all aslong as they make the soldiers/vehicles look a little more unique (for example standard normal and premium having more decals and foliage)
Good topic. I don’t own any premium squads, so I’ll just answer the relevant section(s).
Right now, for what you get, the price is too high.
The reason the price is too high, and I don’t consider them worth the purchase, is because currently it’s only extra bodies and maybe some semi-unique guns. Even the perks are not rare or exclusive, they’re just pre-selected.
I’ll give an example. None of this is too outlandish, in my opinion, and it lines up with the direction the game seems to be heading in. Here’s what it would take for me to consider a premium ($45-$60 USD) squad purchase:
Blue Division - a group of “volunteers” that Francoist Spain sent to the Eastern Front as reciprocity for the Germans’ assistance in the Spanish Civil War. Specifically, this would be for the Moscow Campaign (I know that’s not how it went down historically, but, again, this is an example).
6 total troops. 1 engineer, 1 machine gunner, 4 riflemen. I’m not really familiar with the TO&E that the Spanish units used, although I assume it would at least have some similarities to the Wehrmacht TO&E.
The troops would have their voice lines in Spanish (and that includes “Long live death!”).
This package would also include a Profile Portrait as well as a custom Wallpaper (poster) that can be placed in game. Both the Portrait and the Wallpaper should be related to the Blue Division, obviously.
I would also make these troops rank five BUT WITHOUT any experience (or perks). As people play them, they can decide what perks to add. I would also, just to ease the pain, provide each soldier with 3 retraining points to accommodate bad rolls or unlucky perk selections as they level up.
I have an alternate idea to deal with the issue of leveling and perks, but I’ll leave that out for brevity.
I think a similar example could be done for vehicle squads, airplane squads and so forth. The main thing I’m trying to illustrate is I would like to see more than just “warm bodies with interesting guns/tanks/planes” available. It would also be good to allow people a level of freedom to choose the development of the premium squad, within reason.
The biggest thing keeping me from spending money past the battle pass and the premium account is that I’m patient. I don’t mind trading my time for advancement, and I’m not usually worried about missing out on whatever the new “hotness” is.
Having said that, I like to support good games. But there was a game I bought into back in 2017, developed by a group in St. Petersburg, that is STILL in Beta and has a development path that makes about as much sense to me as watching a pug on cocaine chasing a squirrel.
That experience left a bad impression on me about supporting games that aren’t clearly communicating what they’re trying to accomplish, so I need to feel like I understand what the final vision is going to be before I get too invested.
But I’m here, I’m participating, and I really enjoy the game. So, here’s your answers.
God bless, for your answer and time.
Have you bought extra slots on your campaigns?
if yes, Would you support an option for a free 2 play player to own them too?
if not, why not? (if you allow me to ask)
