Players not engaging makes battles pointless

I keep getting stuck with entire teams that are not doing anything to cooperate. No one is tagging foes or tanks, no one is trying to work together. It’s all mayhem. The battle becomes pointless at that point and I’d like to quit the battle. But then I get penalised. But I also get penalised when I lose, which I eventually do when the team ends up like that.

There should be some kind of mechanic where players who are engaging and cooperating get rewarded and paired together. Otherwise I might as well just be doing practice mode instead.

This game hates the concept of teamwork or working together you don’t even have a command to say yes or no to some people Want to make your life somehow a little bit more bearable Then come to a discord community where you can at least find someone to play with possibly Discord

There simply should not be any “penalty” for the losing team. Both teams should earn 1.5x xp…

BUT earning battle awards should give bonus xp as usual.

This way. Ppl wouldn’t ferl like leaving a match as much anymore, because their time wouldn’t be wasted and they wouldn’t feel like xp farms for the stomping team, at least not as much.

AND usual battle medals would award xp for personal merit and combat prowess, REGARDLESS of if your team carried you… or dragged you down with them.

More penalties for losing team or those not wanting to be part of such teams, is a retarded mentality, especially for such an arcade casual game.

people go for the result. They want to get new levels as soon as possible or max out soldiers.

If there is no reward for winning then people will just fuck about farming. You may as well remove objectives and just have some sandbox for you kids to play in.

That’s where battle awards kicks in. You do your best in battle, even if your team is clearly losing, instead of just leaving.

Boom, bonus xp for the effort.

As of now, some ppl benefits from winning bonus even if they did nothing the entire match, getting carried by 1 to 3 ppl AND there’s those who really gave their all but still lose thanks to their own inexperienced team…

Current concept, does not work to retain ppl in match.

So… farming.

The bonus is a multiplier, so if you have a bad score and get carried then you still don’t get much. People like you just want a medal for participation.

Which is what ppl are the must interested in, in games with xp progression…

Winning side bonus, but nothing to losing side only accentuates that.

Ppl don’t see the benefits of staying in a losing match…

… Cause there currently isn’t any.

In your fantasy world, the person who won the best sniper award and lost was as valuable a player as someone on the winning team. Nonsense.

This game needs more players and if we want to retain more players there’s no point in punishing people for losing.

Depends. If he was the best sniper of the match, then he was the best sniper of the match. Or engineer or whatever.

If that guy’s team was crap, he was bound to lose anyway.

If that same person had a team as good as the winning one… He’d still be the best.

So, yeah. He’s better than the guys at the bottom of the list of the winning team (those that get carried.)

You are not punished for losing, you are rewarded for winning.

People will leave matches for whatever reason they choose. With a matchmaker that puts an equal amount of players on both teams matches should be closer so if you want to farm instead of fight and expect to earn the same as people who contribute and win then you are just freeloading. You are worried about other people getting carried but you want a pat on the head for not even trying.

No point to try if when you join a new match, the enemy is already caping your 2nd point.

Won’t get the winning bonus you like so much.

So that’s why in almost every match, the losing side somehow lose half his players to desertion… Cause they also wanna be like you and get that sweet 1.5x xp.

Not as flawed as removing the reason to win. If everybody gets the gold medal then what is the point of the race. You don’t see the fundamental flaw with your logic. You are worried about unbalanced matches where you are already 2 caps down I am worried about matches where nobody bothers to cap at all, because what’s the point? You get the same anyway. Just pick a class you can guarantee a battle hero in and you get your reward. I guess you just love farming.

When the matchmaker evens the teams there will be less unbalanced matches so your reason is moot.

Capping, is what earns the most xp, out of every actions in the game (save for deleting bombers).

Capping, wins the game.

By actively trying your best Capping, you earn battle medals, but not those who just jerk off behind.

Logic seems sound to me.

Are you trying to retain players or lose players because not everyone’s a premium player.

That is only 1 of many medals that one can earn for rewards though. Like sure, that best sniper will get a slight bonus for being the best-in-class, but its the versatile player whos doing a lot for their team who would benefit. And thats whether they are on the losing team or not because they will end up earning more than just a sniper medal.

Its not a participation reward if you actually earned them through your actions.

And none of them have any effect on winning the match. You may as well just make it team deathmatch with a timer. You people want rewards for non-participation. That is a problem. Yes you are earning something, but you are not helping your team win so ultimately it doesn’t matter. The greyzone sniper is just as deserving as everyone else. I can tell how you guys play by your posts.
