Pistols/Nagant 1895,TT33,and Mauser c96

First off the Nagant revolver in this game might be one of the worst pistols. It only hits for 5.0 witch isn’t to bad for a starter pistol but when you take into account it is double action in this game, and has a long reload they should at least buff the damage to 6.0 hit power.Or they could make it a single action but that would take a lot more work.TT33/Mauser c96 cartridge is 7.62x25 witch has way more stoping power and is better at range than a 9mm.They should have there damage buffed from 5.3 to around 6 and have less damage drop off then German 9mm and lastly could they finish/make the tt33 side move it has recoil but the slide never moves and the hammer is always down so they should make the slide animation.

it has flatter trajectory aka more range doesnt have better “stopping power”

Well, Mauser C96 is chambered for 7.63x25mm Mauser and TT-33 is chambered for 7.62x25mm Tokarev. Those two cartridges are dimensionally interchangeable, so “Soviet” Mausers in Berlin would probably also be used with Tokarev ammo. The difference between those two cartridges is that Tokarev ammo has more powder, so it’s stronger.
So if someone wants the game to be accurate here, the German Mauser C96 should stay how it is now and the TT-33 as well as Soviet captured Mausers should receive a damage buff.

Which is the issue to start with as 7.62x25 tokarev is prone to overpenetrate.

I look online more the standard type of ammo was FMJ just so I compare the luger and tt33’s FMJs round witch there are 3 for each the tt33 has a higher J of 488,605,and 697.The Luger has a J of 481,494,and 6.75 then the foot-pound-force is 360,446,and 514 for the tt33/7.62x25,and 355,364, and 489 for the Luger/9mm.And the tt33/7.62x25 muzzle velocity is 409,469,and 497. And the Luger/9mm muzzle velocity is 360,350,and 410. The 7.62x25 has higher velocity and hits harder with FMJ witch was the most common type of ammo in WW2 if you shot 9mm out of a rifle it will definitely have more stopping power than than 7.62x25 in a pistol. Also I did this legit I look up tt33 7.62x25 and there was only 3 different type FMJ rounds and I look up Luger 9mm and there was only 3 different FMJ rounds,And compare them fairly

Yea they should and also the nagant that pistols is probably the worst in the game if they don’t signify buff the damage

Foot pounds isnt the only thing to consider when it comes to killing power and I’m still not certain how this game decides which does more damage. You talk about ballistic of 7.62x25 and 9mm but want to buff the nagant revolver past either 9mm or 7.62x25? Look up how pathetic that caliber is

Muzzle energy is quite irrelevant.

9mm FMJ (360 m/s) (481 J)
.45 FMJ (255 m/s) (483 J)

Mauser C96
They should have there damage buffed from 5.3 to around 6

Sure I can see the Revolver being buffed because quite frankly, it is garbage (altough I like the asymmetrycal balance of Russians having garbage pistol at least to start with but not having to swap to them that often with the monster drum mags) but the Mauser?

It’s actually really…okay? I dunno why but it’s my favorite pistol in the game because of the fact that it has huge mags that you can spew at the enemy sometimes having enough rounds to even down two enemies whitout reloading. They are an excellent pistol to complement my sniper squads’ otherwise weakness to medium range combat (because let’s be real, in CCQ you can just fire it no-scope and still it the majority of the times with a sniper rifle) or when I want to quickly storm a building.

They shouldn’t buff the nagant because it’s round is good they should buff it cause it’s sucks so much in the game

The main thing in stopping/killing power is how much energy you bullet brings to the enemy.i don’t know what enlisted is base off of but the tt33/7.62x25 has a higher foot-pounds-force,and higher velocity and muzzle energy than a 9mm from a Luger and travels about 450 ft faster than a 9mm.So I don’t know where the 9mm is higher than it or has more energy than it.They Mauser can stay how it is but the tt33 should be buffed a little over the German 9mm pistols and have less damage drop off at range.

Exactly and 7.62x25 is pretty bad at transferring the energy into target ( over penetration )

It’s not it’s has a higher pound per foot of a person almost 100 over a 9mm I don’t know what is making the 9mm have more stopping power when the tt33 beats it energy wise and that’s whats is based off stoping power

Where does it say 9mm has more stopping power?

It is article about the 7.62x25 not exactly a list of rounds that are more suitable for task of harming humans than 7.62.

All I’m saying Is tt33 is a very power full round and they should buff it and the Russian capture Mauser c96 near 6.0 hit power and it should have less damage drop off than most pistols in the game,

It indeed has more speed & energy, how ever as in above posted video about .45fmj vs 9mm fmj demonstrated the muzzle energy /speed you are so much referring is quite irrelevant what comes to causing damage in this exact case.

True as well as less damage than most pistols.

tbh probably the reason 7.62x25 does less damage than 9mm is to nerf high ROF soviet SMG a bit. To give German SMG a chance. (5.5 vs 5.7 base damage).

and it carry over to pistol that happen to use same cartridge (5.3 for tokarev vs 5.5 for 9mm).

It really shouldn’t it should at least have as much damage as the Soviet sub machine guns and have way less damage drop.It was wanna of the most powerful pistol cartridges of the war and has more stopping power than a Luger 9mm
