Petition for fair chance of pulling BP items from veteran´s box

Hello bajtársak and fellow forumdwellers,

A battle pass weapon or soldier used to cost us 750 Enlisted Gold
A battle pass vehicle used to cost us 1200 Enlisted Gold

Based on the in game shop, 750 Enlisted Gold is worth 12000 silver
Converting the 1200 Enlisted Gold into silver with the 11% bonus is about 19028 silver

Since one pull in the veteran box costs 5000 silver, it is reasonable to expect that 3 pulls will reward the player with at least one battle pass item.

There are
65 BP guns, all of which you can get at least 4 times so it’s actually 260.
84 BP vehicles
129 BP unique soldiers.
A total of 473 items.

If a player wants to get all of these, it will likely cost him 7 095 000 silver even with such “friendly chances”.
Not to mention that this will only increase with time as more and more content is added to the battle pass.

15000 silver and it’s still up to luck what the player gets, he might get a max upgraded BR5 weapon which is well worth 15000 silver or just a tier I Assaulter that is worth 500 silver and will bloat the reserves so making BP items cost anymore would be shameless inflation.

The veteran boxes are for veterans. Meaning they have maxed everything and have spare silver to burn. The drop rates are fine too because most of the things in the box are extremely good/overpowered.

Im not talking about event weapons, Im talking about the damned Battle Pass weapons, vehicles and soldiers that will most likely get added to the veteran’s box.

You could buy now a BP weapon for 750 gold, but once BP shop is gone, how much more you expect someone to pay for one BP gun?

None. I’d prefer them to not be purchasable out right. Maybe a separate box to increase the chances?

I personally find it much worse that through those veterans boxes one could theoretically use more than 4 of the same gun, effectively ignoring the established limitations.

You can only get each event squad once, so Im sure that BP weapons will be capped at 4 except for pistols that are capped at 6 so unless DF does something stupid here, players will still only be able to get 4 Cönders and once they have all 4 Cönders the box will reward something else instead.

You can only get 1 event squad has nothing to do with weapon tbh. Since you normally can’t get the same squad multiple time but you can get multiple copies of a weapon.

The cap for BP weapon is there because you can buy it directly. If it is in the box like the event weapon, there is no point of maintaining such limit.

Moreover you can already get 2 m2a1 carbine from previous event so it seems like dev didn’t care about such limit anymore.

yes there is, because with the new BP system you get all 4 guns you can get if you buy elite pass.
If players can get 5th and 6th from the box than that would conflict with what the CMs said before.

because up until that point, players could only get 2 M2A1 carbines anyway so if someone bought 2 and than got 2 from event still only has 4 M2A1 carbines.

This is completely outdated. We could’ve already gotten 6 M2A1 carbines.

And DF itself has said they plan to use more former GO stuff as event rewards in the future.

This limitation will just go away once there is no GO concept.

just said, its not the case.

I don’t understand what are you trying to tell me.

Of course, if someone did not buy all 4 of them in GO shop. Then he won’t have 6 of them now. That’s how math works, lol.

M2A1 carbine was limited to 2 in Normandy campaign which was the only campaign it was available in.

Doesn’t matter.

Now that they’ve brought back the old GOs. You can buy up to 4 pieces of any weapon (handguns are exception, you can buy up to 6 pieces of them)

It doesn’t if you used to be able to have a max of 2 or 5 pieces (like a suppressed erma) under campaign system.

And yes, you can get up to 6 M2A1s now. I’m proof of that. Do you want me to take a screenshot?

thats a fun loophole.

I think the highest maximum number of BP guns you could have was at least 6, you could pick up at least one FN1930 in every campaign I remember right.
Still the other 60 BP guns are capped at 4 so I dont see why a few exceptions would “break the rule”.

I recommend to read through the topic that was announcing event with M2A1. It’s not loophole. Devs were aware of it. Or at least helpers/CMs.

And if I remember correctly. When they announced the closure of the GO shop. They mentioned that they might reuse the weapons in future events.

Which was then confirmed with the M2A1 event.

So as I have said, this artificial limitation of 4 weapons is outdated restriction.

I think it was a bug. And somewhat you could have transferred your Japanese FN to the German faction. Messing things up.

Some guy complained about it. Because he then couldn’t get the weapons back to the Japanese faction after the merge.

What is the original stuff that CM said? You know “all 4 guns you can get” can just means “all 4 guns you can get from the BP” instead of “all 4 guns that you can ever get”.

Yeah I remember him too, he was told to suck it up.

DF putting BP weapons in box is just an if. As I discussed the fate of these weapons in the past week, it became clear that they could easily wait a few motnhs after the BP and put the same gun in the tech tree, sell it as premium or make it an event reward.
Regardless I still believe that the fair price of rolling a BP weapon/soldier/vehicle should roughly be the same as it used to cost buying one in gold.

I don’t believe this. That would be utterly stupid.

That is, if we’re talking about the exact same weapon. If we were talking about some different variant of the same weapon (like T20 with bayonet vs T20 with bipods), you’d be correct.

My guess is this. That if the BP/GO guns are ever going to be put into loot box. Then it will be some kind of a more premium loot box, which might cost premium currency (or maybe some event currency).

I really don’t think they will ever put them in the box for silvers.

But who knows.
