It was literally the “selling point” of the new system that players get all content that are added with BP.
Its called gold order 
Whats stopping them?
If they wait 6 months, its still FOMO for 6 months, you will still buy the BP and complete it.
Sure some players will be angry, but even more will be happy so its all justified as “new content”.

Making paying players dissatisfied for the sake of making F2P players happy is not sustainable approach.
But you are right, basically everything is possible with DF.

What could also be done, we reinstate the 4 gun limit - or at least set a new limit that doesn’t scew over those that already have over 4 guns - and then we make the veterans boxes roll for a second time if you got something you already have.
So to speak if you are looking for a specific reward, using the boxes often enough ultimately increases the chance that you get what you want.
So basically you can only pull X number of BP guns from the box. Does the already owned BP guns affect this or only BP guns pulled from the box?

Well, I don’t know… I was just thinking out loud.
I remembered how Company of Heroes 2 did reward crates after a match, and basically if you would roll for something you already had, you would get gold instead - which made sense for the game since you payed for it and got DLC content for free after playing long enough.
I doubt Enlisted devs could go that far, so an equivalent for this could logically be a gold order (no pun intended), but a simple reroll could do as well.
Don’t ask me about the exact limit. Adamnpee is right that this limit hasn’t existed for quite some time now - I am at this point not even advertising for it any longer, even tho I believe it made alot of sense to limit them, again this is more or less a different topic…
all I am saying is that instead of getting 20 times stuff you dont really need, at least after getting the stuff you didn’t need you wont get it again.

Weird interpretation. You did get all stuff that a BP offers. But the box doesn’t belongs to bp. So there should be no restriction on it.
