I vote yes purely for the fact it will drive WT players mad.
But no really, there is absolutely no lack of German vehicles to pick from still. A TT Jagdpanther would fit better for a BR5 tank if they for some reason needed yet another.

THE PANTHER 2 EXISTED IN PARTS THEY BUILT SEVERAL HULLS ONE IN A MUSUEM TODAY, AND AT LEAST ONE TURRET, JUST BECAUSE THEY DID NOT PUT THE TWO TOGEHER DOES NOT MEAN IT DID NOT EXIST, IT IS NOTHING LIKE THE HO RI WHICH IS A PROTOTYP (NEVER BUILT) BASED ON A PROTOTYPE (NEVER BUILT shiro-sha) BASED ON A PROTOTYPE ( hiro-sha BUILT)
so yes there was never an assembled complete panther 2 but there were hulls and one turret.
I thought no turret was built, it was a hull only, hence why mockups of it use normally a G or F model turret.
But 2 things, first take a chill pill, like damn. Second there is more of a ground for the panther 2 to stand on than other vehicles in this game so Im not against it. Thought as I said above, there is simply no need for it, there are so many more interesting vehicles to go through first.
Like the Allies and Soviets with the AS-44, T20 and the New Assault Rifle that did not see combat in WW2 or passed the Prototype phase
like what, really am interested, and no super light tanks or chunky tank destroyers like Germany also considered putting the turret on a panzer 4, yes they made turrets only the hulls survived ww2 to the present and not the turret
goal hull and turret in a museum goal
P2 turret ?
As I said, thats the turret of the Panther F (Another tank that was only in the prototype phases), the Panther 2 hull mounted with a Panther G turret in Bovington and, in WT, where the model would come from presumably, it mounts a Pak43 gun not found in either of those turrets.
The proposed turret for the Panther 2 merely bares resemblance to the Schmalturm turret, in design it was completely different. Kinda, not much is know since the project was cancelled relatively early on in the design process. Iâll ramble at this point but the Schmalturm comes from the original Panther 2 design which was scrapped early so, Rheinmetall wanted to use the new turret design for a later Panther model (Panther F) and there was as you said some consideration put forward to mounting it on a Pz 4 chassis.
Just like Ho-RI, T-34-100 and AS-44 (outside of 1 prototype of model 5) so case opened up again we will be adding Panther II, Tiger 10.5 to the game along with P43 and 44M Tas
I mean there is the the Japanese premium that has the 20mm MG 151 cannons so maybe the second one to see in use lol
Balance wise Panther II isnât gonna fill any role gap, it could be added since T34 100 is already a thing, but it wont really be necessary. Tiger II will be better no matter what.
Once again I am stating that I think prototype and experimental content is completely fine. I view any and everything can be added if it was from the WW2 period. I view this game as a sandbox that has a huge amount of content from the greatest war of all history. Firearm and vehicle technicality was constantly evolving
Mass produced, famous, rare, prototype, experimental
fine then the panther 2 aus f
but nothing of the ho-ri ever existed but a gun not a hull not an engine, nothing do not lump the ho-ri with anything in the game see above post to ho-ri was based on the shiro-sha (never built) which was based on the Hori-sha. a copy of a fake built on a prototype the panther 2 had a surviving hull and a turret that could have fit itâŚduh a medium tank can not compete with the last heavy tank germany built, that is like saying an f16 designed as a bomber cant beat the air superiority f15 duh
thatâs a panther f not a panther 2 but yes panther 2 did exist
Thatâs actually exactly what that means, cope harder.
Ho-Ri is based on the Chi-Ri chassis, which did have a partially completed prototype. Doesnât make it any less paper, but itâs needed for balance because Japan actually lacks options for BR5 tanks. Germany does not, there are other options like the Jagdpanther and Jagdtiger that would work just as well and be more realistic. Plus they already have the most BR5 tanks of any nation in game
This isnât actually a Panther II turret, it was designed after the Panther II was already cancelled.
Maus when?

Its fake tank. Not even paper tank.
Panther II mit 8.8 cm KwK 43 L/71 (Fake Tank) - Tank Encyclopedia
wow a confirmed hull and its not even paper wow you have some high standard
The article you shared literally mentions real Panther 2. Literally nobody was talking about Panther 2 with 8.8 cm
who was talking about that in my thread? i was talking about the up armored panther 2
