Pacific Campaign balance regarding submachine guns

It’s been several patches lately but none of them correct the problem. The Japanese get the short end of the stick in their campaign when it comes to submachine guns. If the US team has ONE person that has bought the pack , its insant game over. One person with a thompson completely anihilates then japanese team. The japanese machine guns are a joke , they do so little damage and their fire rate is so slow. I understand that the fire rate is possibly historically accurate , so why not change the damage or something , something to maatch the thompson and the BAR. The game is extremely frustrating when you do everything you can and a marine just walks by and gets 10 kills from 100 meters away without even trying…

no, i’ve seen many many raider squads lose the game despite having the pack

it has 20 rounds in the magazine so the person will get caught on reload and swiftly killed while the jap pack has a 50 round one with a comfortable RPM too

don’t think they will because the fedorov also fires the same round and also gets the same damage and the wehrs will be pissed at that also the type 11 seems to be very very accurate when tap firing, just that it has awkward sights

if that is a case then you might be experience a bolt action not any automatic weapons

Japanese SMG is pea shooter with ridiculous cone spread with iron sight aiming.

Japan tried putting a bayonet on a flamethrower so I’m disappointed that isn’t in game.

yep in many situations 1vs1, guy with tompson will kill guy with type1SMG , even if that one have started shot first, and he do it with with accuracy (shots to body, not head ofcorse) so its not skill issue, just weapon damage. Abaut that total anihilation of entire team I think that sometimes pro get his hands on good weapon, and comfortable angle of fire. Maybe he do it little bit more often when playing allies, but still pretty normal.

also people forget that the premium tommy has 20 rounds which will go quick with it’s RPM

Skill issue is not an argument, it’s a way of showing that you have no logical arguments.

Japanese SMGs are weaker than US ones. That’s an objective fact, not an opinion. The absolute minimum DF should do is to significantly reduce the recoil of Type 100 - it’s the worst SMG in the whole campaign.

nah, the grease gun is worse than type 100, though i do agree that japanes smgs are weak

I did find out that the preorder Japanese SMG has an “auto slow” mode which is way more controllable than default auto and makes your magazine last for ages.

Grease gun doesn’t recoil as badly

I wouldt be so sure. Afer all you have their genes lol

even without the auto slow it’s still a solid gun that work extremely well

no, but is way slower than the type 100 and even if the low recoil helps on long range, you can still use the type 100 on semi-auto for longer ranges
