Pacific Campaign balance regarding submachine guns

Japanese loves bayonets and equip it on everything
they even try to add bayonet on Browning Auto-5.(project failed)

My only honest complaint on the Japanese SMGs is the sighting on some of them. But that is more of a personal thing than anything else, I still haven’t gotten comfortable with then.
I also don’t have the final one unlocked so I won’t reserve judgment on them either.
The MP with 50rounds is quite nice on the mid range but right up close your dead.
So generally speaking I use my Rifleman to thin them out and limit the damage, my SMGs if they are closer, and my Flamethrower troops when its knife fighting distance.

Basically the exact same strategy I use on Berlin.
There will never be a 1 to 1 equality between weapons, so fight to your strengths.
Flamethrowers at close range solve a lot of the debate on having a better SMG.

The worst complain about japanese smg is you have to use the first one for the rest of the 26lv

Arisaka and type2 (like type1) have too much recoil and dispersion

The mp28 is the starter smg but with 17 more bullet

Mp34 all the way, faster and cheap to upgrade, same stats of the other one, change my mind

I could have swore the mp28 had a higher rof than my s1 but it still has a dummy thicc mag

Oh I am not here to change minds. I only wanted to give my take on how I viewed thr Japanese SMGs and my strategies for winning matches based on what I’m facing.

I won’t recommend anything until I’ve maxed both campaigns.

I won’t be like those retarded guys that answer the 5 year old phrase:skill issue. You’re right, partially, because the Thompson has only 20 bullets in the mag, so it runs out pretty fast. Thing is, bots can actually headshot you from 1 km away, and also if they storm a point they can kill many soldiers in the process, but again, they run out of bullets really fast.

You mean “regarding everything”.

From the limited time I’ve used it as a pick-up weapon, I like it more than the Type 100. It has better sights (that’s always a personal preference, so it’s subjective) and for some reason, lower recoil.

Just remove Japanese weapons, they don’t need them, they lost war didn’t they?

Federov fires 6.5x55 Arisaka, the proper Japanese SMGs are firing 8mm Nambu, and the S1-100/MP28 are firing 7.65 Parabellum.

Because they were

The Recoil on the Type 100 is 23/9, less than the Rising (27/27), about the same as the M3 (21/15 with ~100 less fire rate), less than the Owen (28/16), and less than the M1A1 (36/14.) Reducing it further doesn’t make a load of sense to me, but I think I have a different thought on the problem.

They increased the fire rate for the type 100, and the damage is higher than it should be historically (8mm Nambu is weaker than .380acp), in an effort to make the weapon not suck. I know the M3 is trash, but the low fire rate means more reliable hits at range. With the others, the high RoF and higher damage means you get more spread, more hits at range, and more kills. The Type 100 exists in this weird balance of low damage, and fire rate that’s too high for precise shots at range but too low for efficient TTK up close. It sucks for now, but there’ll eventually be a Type 100 (late) with ~800rpm, which will be flat better.
