I personally had the theory that the WW1 infantry setting was testing for Enlisted, while the modern infantry setting was testing for Active Matter.
PS: I have been on WT since 4th July 2013, I even remember when there were 20 ranks for planes, lol.
Itâs too optimistic. War Thunder is fully capable of creating infantry content, and it doesnât care about the survival of Enlisted at all. Then again, who really cares?
Why would gaijin have bothered to make the same game twice then ? It would be pretty retarded to include infantry in WT now that Enlisted is out, because you will lose money if you have two games that compete with each other. And it could also break the balance of WT if they do that.
What do you mean? Why would they be testing stuff like that in WT.
And let DF release completely nonsensical event thatâs hammered together from various assets that have been rolling around in their âwarehouseâ for God knows how many years.
Literally the event feels like a mix of various upcoming April fools events.
(One event that was supposed to be themed to mafia. The other event that was supposed to be themed into the wild westâŚ)
So I personally think this is the last april fools event that Enlisted will have.
And that either enlisted will just cease to exist, with the developers already well aware that it is planned to end.
Or those two projects will merge together and WT will just devour Enlisted.
I really donât see a scenario where some sort of successfully continued development of Enlisted is planned as very realistic.
Iâm not even going to comment on how they sell 4 weapon skins for 3000g. What the hell is that, anyway?

There is a chance they could just simply absorb Enlistedâs content into War Thunder if they fully integrate infantry into that game, Enlisted first started as DF/Gaijin FPS game but it is clear througout the years the game have not harvest the success Gaijin may have hoped for, the Steam release disaster happened as Gaijin tried to recoup loses from the cut Valve takes from sales through Steam but it backed fired so horribly they had to remove the game for a while which was a horrible first impression for many would be new players of the game coming from Steam, then the re-release happened but there was no massive marketing campaign afterwards to prop up Enlisted and have more players, Active Matter was announced and it is clear itâs currently a top priority so itâs possible that Gaijin seeing Enlisted not thriving after all these years may just start packing up their losses and probably looking to get the content of enlisted over to War Thunder, this would also make sense in a business standpoint to have that new game mode and content all in one game instead of separate downloads/launchers (hence why so many companies try so hard to have a single launcher for all games i.e COD HQ and others) and by having infantry directly installed on War Thunder they could attract directly all the War Thunder players into playing infantry without them having to install another game

Maybe Iâm a bit naive, but wouldnât that a be a âgood thingâ ? I mean, having a unified launcher would be cool, World of Tanks and the other games have been running on the same launcher for quite some time now, and if WT and Enlisted are merged together one day, maybe gaijin would pour enough resources in the new game mode for WT, (which was previously Enlisted), and we could finally have a lot of bugs resolved, and way better animations/sound and content. But maybe Iâm just too optimistic. Anyway, I really donât want this game to die, because I donât have any other FPS that insterests me at the moment.
Yeah the devs better come out to refute these points if they want to continue to develop this game.
It feels like at this point community morale is even lower then the winter post-merge. They missed an update, they fucked up the events, they killed the GL system. Now they have to recognize they fucked up and give us a clear vision of what their planning. If not, than that is probably a sign this game wont survive for very long.

To be fair I think there is an option in War Thunder to disable custom content and non historical skins IIRC
Its a shame. Kinda like the event though ⌠I f it was just a smal event it would be nice, but now its going to be a long slog because those who paid for the BP have to finish their things. So, no others events sadly enough.
Which question by the way. If you want to do the free BP, do you only have to grind 5 things and then get the Winchester, or do you have to grind the paid ones to?

People there are mostly complaining that the event is BP-styled, 900 gold, weapons are not strong enough, you canât enlist an actual zombie in your army, the guns arenât added to tech tree, etc.
In other words no concerns about WW2, just win rate.
If they deliver some good events (with squads) and the Battle of Manchuria in a few months, player confidence will return.

I think youâre too concerned about the game being historical.
Youâll probably have a heart attack if Enlisted is merged with WT, because then youâll get tanks with anime girl stickers and probably skins like Snoop Dogg and⌠in Stalingrad.
I donât understandâŚthis is a skill issue, not a voting issue. According to this, just the Japanese guy will be the âmost popularâ because thatâs the first one everybody will use. Potsman will be the least âpopularâ cause only ONE player per match will ever use himâŚ
Regardless, NONE of these guys should be in the vanilla game.
