On the detpack nerf/grenade buff

After Playing in every campaign, my doubt still remains, where do you guys find so much explosive spam?

Like honestly when the meta has moved away from shooting semi sito/ full auto weapons?

I just don’t see explosive spam in the way you guys portrait it on Any of my battles

It is somewhat rare, but when you have to deal with it, it’s absolute cancer.

I quite literally don’t touch the game for multiple days after playing a match against someone abusing explosives.

They’re absurdly powerful, and even worse with the buff to grenade launchers.

I don’t agree with op about removing grenade pouches, but I do think something needs to be done about explosives in general.

i just report them for unsporting conduct, you are less likly to match with them again

Yup, decreasing the quantity of explosions should be the way to go.

question… why we updating soldiers? why we updating guns? gold orders, perks, lvls and etc… because to die from 1 lvl grenade launcher? im not talking about 90% of games where my eye are closed and im wining. im talking about the game when enemy team have 6-7 real players and they are high lvls… or when we play 4 vs 4 or 6 vs 6 inside the discord or custom battles why we must put own rules? 1 explosive and without grenade launcher? becouse our rules means we try to fix broken things to feel max pleasure in this game…first of all this is fps shooter ww2 game and we cannot avoid shoot. i watched stream and guy spend only 10 bullet in whole game and kill 90 soldier … maybe he likes only weather and graphic in this game who knows : )

Just more proof that event nameplates are a good hint to leave the match

I agree with this. Limiting grenade pouches to AT and engineers. I feel like engineers and AT squads are the most under utilized class in the game.

I never use any of those bags (Exept one I bough by mistake when I was tired, thinking it was an ammo bag) so I wouldn’t mind 🤷

Not a fan of grenade spam. Got too used with them being very dangerous for your very own team in Red Orchestra, so I only use them on what I see… by which point it’s better to merely shoot at it.

I have a lot of troubles completing grenade kills dailies… :expressionless:

Devs taking notes.
Hmm, ok we got an idea.

Granade boxes to replenish all granades added.

trust haha

I actually use grenade pouches for my AT rifle guys because they are killing tanks.

The best way to properly fix detpacks are make them legit dynamite. Dynamite doesn’t have fragmentation in them, just gunpowder, it should only kill if standing very close to one going off, it’s mainly concussion.

not the only way my way if you put a 5 sec timer before you can throw a second det pack this would stop the semi auto throwing of grenades so you cant just spam fire them like a semi auto

Adding an animation of arming a grenade would be a good start. Even if it’s 1-2s long.

needs to be 5 sec

Ye. Don’t forget about rifle grenades cancer.

P.S right now rifle grenade or explosive pack are more powerfull than HE from a pack cannon which is rather laughable and pathetic at the same time.

absolutely you’re right, but I’m aware that this is a known issue to devs. I’ve seen keofox leaving games due to grenade spammers and i’ve seen him evidence of him using them in game. as the most prominent CM it is doubtless he has already informed the team of this issue, which is why I did not mention it. but yes, the decision to buff these was absolutely braindead. maybe keep the reload/equip buffs, but revert damage/radius buffs.

it’s clear this dev team is utterly incompetent and probably don’t playtest at all. and if they do, that’s even worse - if they played the game this way with this level of nade spam, and don’t see any issue, it’s indicative of a severe lack of game design knowledge when it comes to fps games - call of duty had this exact problem an entire decade ago. Is it really so hard to do the slightest bit of research and learn from the mistakes of others/yourself? Maybe for russians. Look at the state their country is in. They seem to be immune to learning from the past. As for this dev team, they have a really weird sense of pride/chip on their shoulder. they seem to hate admitting they were wrong, except for the most dire of circumstances. They need to take more direction from the more experienced/high level players who know the game better than they do.
