Agreed. I think there’s definitely room for improvement on the economy and balance.
I know everyone is excited/worried/anxious about the state of the game but I’d caution about putting the cart before the horse. It’s in CBT and not even in OBT yet the room and opportunity for change is quite large and I’m sure once ground work like actually making models is done the developers will turn towards user experience and stuff like that.
Once all the placeholders are removed and replaced with final version I think we can have more urgent expectations towards some of the more finer details within the game.
you know that 5 stars soldiers =/= Veteran soldier.
right?
because even if you unlock the veteran upgrade for soldiers, they are not implemeted yet outside the premium classes.
admitting that it will survive long enough to arrive at that phase.
i’m not sure how can you even go over the current factors that are plaguing the game…
but i suppose everyone has their priorities and opinions.
The premium soldiers have in fact double perk point capacity of that of a normal 5* soldier.
Veterancy does not exist in game as a functionality. The upgrade exists, but does nothing. It supposedly is to make the perk more powerful. It does not increase perk capacity.
Except making models is done by entirely different people than development, so they surely could do it right now. But instead they are adding more monetization after already allowing players to spend 150$ on this.
It is technically not P2W, but it effectively is, at least for the first 4 or so months.
As there is no way to max everything within 4 months even if you play with multiple players on one account, so it can level 24/7, even the most dedicated players will be outmatched by paying players.
Maxed out squads/weapons/soldier have significant advantages over “stock” squads/weapons/soldiers, so until normal players have the time to catch up, it is P2W to me.
That’s what I said. They are made by different people. So there is no reason for making models to prevent the developers from improving the user experience, but instead they focus on monetization.
