Not fair

Since the Japanese in this game can have the katana as a melee weapon and the Marines can’t, I feel like only the Marines should have the flame thrower and the Japanese shouldn’t have one because it isn’t fair it isn’t accurate

The Allies have the shotgun, while the Japanese have the katana.

Its fair balance, if not weighted a bit more to the Allies side.

The shotgun is VERY powerful, especially after the shotgun update. Also it can be equipped on engineers without having to give up the shovel, which would be necessary for the Japanese with the sword.

Both weapons are intended for CQB and trench clearing, and both do that job just fine.

The Browning auto 5 is the gun of god himself, no katana can defeat that thing!

Like @61839981 said, the allies shotty in Pacific is absolutely fantastic.

It did not benefit from a damage boost last patch… But didn’t need it either: it’s semi auto! You can effectively “snipe” ppl with it at 50m (won’t kill them, but will down thanks to the pellets hitting the face), and if a Japanese soldier charges at you with a katana and you have this semi auto shotty pointed at him…

Well I’m sorry to say, but even Tarantino chose to make Katana Bruce give Shotgun Marsellus the spot:

Is there something honestly wrong with your head the Americans have a flame tank in flames squads in a plane which can drop fire bombs and rockets and superior weapons what more do you want.

So do the Japanese…

The funny thing about this scene is it was going to be a full-fledged fight scene but people tell me Harrison Ford wasn’t feeling good that day when they filmed so they cut the scene into that.

Yeah he had diarrhea so they cut the scene way down.

honestly cutting it this short actually probably made this fight way better.

It did.

do i have it wrong or don’t Katanas go in the melee slot and shotguns the primary gun slot, that would be like saying grenade beams gun, there not the same weapon slot, give the Americans the machete, or bowie

Katana just replaces the knife for the japanese
