have you done any basic research and looked up what the burgers get at the katana level?

Yeah you can find that in various commentaries about the film - timing is everything! 
In reality the IJA does have flamethrowers, but the Marines don’t carry katanas
Battle of the Pacific Marines have far greater weapons advantage than IJA, katanas won’t help them beat BAR and Thompson
If there is any unfairness, it must be that the Marines have too strong weapons, not that the Marines don’t have katana

Everything in this game is against you when you are trying to grind, I can’t even fly the new FP-5 because it is a premium squad and the M3 sturate with flame thrower is at level 28 280000xp to unlock, it is hard enough just trying to get the first flame thrower because im being butt raped by jap flame thrower the whole time.
Look people, I’m not trying to whine or press anyone’s buttons, all I’m saying is that I feel like everything in this game is against me.
If it’s any consolation the Americans in that campaign are the only faction with two flamethrower options or technically 3 if you buy a premium versus a Japanese with only two.
That is correct it most certainly is it sucks to be low level but when you reach end game then you can make everyone else suffer This game does not teach kindness It teaches you to bottle up your pain and make everyone else suffer when you get the chance.
