normandy axis was already pretty bad but theyve just absolutely ruined them in the p ast few updates. i have almost all my hours on axis normandy and its simply not fun anymore, when your whole team has to run to the INITIAL obj taht is as far for the allies, all the allies can build spwans WAY too close to obj, AND you cant even zoom on sandbagged mg42s, it really ruins the experience. the game just promotes bum rushing every obj and now for some reason they want to nerf defending even more. its incredibly frustrating getting 200 kills and losing because of horrible map design and the fact that all the good weapons are near max level. i cant with this game anymore because its not even just normandy, tunisia axis is literally pointless to play. at least on normandy you can win with a few high level players carrying with you.

What is this post? I’ve been grinding Axis Normandy and its fun as hell. Probably the best place to play as the Axis. Plane spam is annoying but you have tons of incredibly powerful weapons and vehicles. I feel like I win 75% or more of my matches in it and I’m not really high level, I think 24? I just use G43s and MP40s mostly and build rallies
Ehh Just build close beacons too I guess?
Or even better… play Berlin or Moscow.
this goes for germans aswell they can build like 40 m away from the obj

The only thing i have to agree with this post is the map. at times the foliage in the maps felt way too dense and made it worse by the terrain. who needs a pacific campaign when normandy map is already a jungle itself lol

Since i unlocked the STG i barely touched it since. I dont like winning games in 8 minutes or stomping on defence for 20 minutes. The most boring side right now, period

berlin axis is. imo. regarding both weapons and tanks and enough payload/30mm cannons on planes to either bomb a point and or destroy enemy planes.
both normal campaign and for custom matches.
probably the best campaign overall.
but fair points.
I’ve maxed Berlin Axis and Allies so perhaps to me being finally out of a city and back into forests and fields makes the game play more enjoyable plus you know…MP43
i know… but since you stated you are level 24 or so… mp43 isnt yet a reason.
and, if we intend to talk regarding “the future” as an option, berlin will get stg sooner or later , only make it even, a better campaign to play with.

imo there is nothing in normanly, berlin doesnt have, or does better. but again, imo. we cant all love the same woman

infantry weapon wise I would say:
early campaign- US has better weapons
mid campaign -axis has better weapons
late campaign -axis has better weapons
tank balance:
early tanks - axis has better tanks
mid tanks - US has better tanks
late final unlock - one Panther to rule them all
I dont think axis players have a reason to complain anymore, yes the Jumbo was “OP- at least compared to the panzer IV”
Now if you talk about “early game unlocks” puma beats stuard, Panzer III beats scott, G43 and M40 are “good enough” until you unlock FG42 and STG.
The maps can be frustrating, however dont give in to the illusion that only axis have a bad time, getting spawn raped at the beaches happens quite often.
