Supply Drop- a supply crate is air dropped by a plane, perfect for when Engineers aren’t available or if you want to drop supplies at a specific point such as in the middle of a battle or a strategic area, maybe it could supply medkits as well
Rocket Artillery- fires a large barrage that covers a wider area than regular artillery but is very inaccurate
Incendiary Bombing Run- a bombing run with incendiary bombs, has a longer cooldown than the standard bombing run
Heavy / Strategic Bombing Run- a more powerful bombing run with a more durable and armed planes carrying a more powerful payload, but has an even longer cool down than the standard bombing run
The Heavy Bombers for all the current factions would be:
America Europe: B-17 Flying Fortress
America Pacific: B-24 Liberator
Britain: Avro Lancaster
Soviet Union: Pe-8
Germany: He 177 Greif
Italy: Piaggio P.108
Japan: two candidates
Ki-49, carried a larger bomb load than its successor the Ki-67
Ki-67, their most durable plane
Recon Plane- a recon plane flies over the map to spot, it spawns far back like a bombing run and needs time to enter the battlefield so the enemy team has a chance to shoot it down, perfect for spotting enemy rally points, AA, anti tank guns, vehicles, etc, will only spot targets that it flies over and aren’t in cover, buildings, smoked, etc, it could leave a spot mark where it saw enemies, theoretically could reveal the class of whatever enemies it saw for a limited amount of time on the scoreboard (like from that update not too long ago that was changed), overall a great team support for mortars, snipers, planes, etc, would have a moderate cool down, the enemy team is not notified it has been called in, it wouldn’t be much of a recon plane if it told you it was coming
The Recon Planes would be:
America: F-4/ F-5 Lightning
Britain: de Havilland Mosquito
Soviet Union: Polikarpov R-5
Germany: two candidates
Fi 156 Storch, used in every single theater
Fw 189 Uhu, highly effective and used primarily on the Eastern Front (obviously it doesn’t matter if it appears on every map, just a factoid)
Italy: Ro.37 Lince
Japan: Ki-46
Air Strike- a powerful ground strike, every faction has their own unique “air strike”, has the longest cool downs
America/ Britain Allies: Tallboy Bomb, a single Avro Lancaster is called in like a bombing run but spawns even further back so it has to fly a much longer distance to reach the zone giving the enemy ample time to attack it, it was the second largest bomb used by the Allies, its successor the Grand Slam would be too much overkill
America Pacific: B-29 Superfortress, powerful payload, a single one is called in like a bombing run but spawns even further back so it has to fly a much longer distance to reach the zone giving the enemy ample time to attack it
Soviet Union: Katyusha Battery, a much larger rocket artillery barrage that covers a much larger area than regular artillery, the Soviets were infamous in their mass use of Katyushas
Germany: Sturmtiger shot, a single powerful rocket strike
However given that we will likely get the Sturmtiger as a vehicle one day ( although there’s nothing wrong with having multiple iterations of something if it has different functionalities like Rocket Vehicles and Rocket Artillery) another good air strike would be
Hs 293- a raid guided glide bomb that was used originally against shipping but was later used against ground targets as the Western Front intensified. Alternatively Germany’s Air Strike could be any of the plethora of missile technology
Japan: 45cm Naval Rocket, a single powerful rocket strike
