It’s going to be funny. Unkillable for all tanks (including the Panther), having strong sides to protect against grenade launchers (the Panther is very vulnerable on the sides), as well as a large-caliber machine gun.
Combined with the absolute dominance of Allied air power, this would be broken. I hope they have the brains to add something else.
The most used tank by the allies is jumbo and it will remain the jumbo, the m10 is too much situational and vulnerable.
The most used tank of the axis will be the Panther, it needs time but eventually the only tanks that will be present in Normandy will be jumbo and Panther.

maybe if they do a late 44-45 western campaign but the m4+t26 could be a nice event vehicle for normandy

it was the same when jumbo was introduced, took time, but most of us got it .
the same will be aplied for the panther, its just a matr of time untill everyone that played for a sum of time owns it. and a new player, wont do shit against it inside a sherman or even on the long run inside the jumbo.

New players encounter jumbos and also die by the dozens. If there is no panther in the game, the jumbo is the king of the sandbox.
It is suggested to target 2 pixels, which is often simply impossible. Puma vs. jumbo is just as silly a contest. Jumbo will win unless he is a complete idiot.
But this game requires coping skills.
Killing a jumbo is extremely difficult on any tank, it’s easier on a panther, but still not a silhouette shooter. All low level tanks have problems with the highest level tanks, just get the best ones.
A fact I know Jumbo needs new AP shells with explosive
i don’t really see this as being a problem in the first place to be honest, but would put everyone on the same base and from there, skill matters.
but if this is a " problem " i’ll be glad to actually ignore it for the greater good of this game.
custom games although could deselect such option ( like war thunder BR in customs ).
well, that is because you are one of the few that actually enjoys having a challenge.
now, i do not take for grantated majority of the rants on a daily, although i keep tracks of them and try to be on their " shoulder ".
like, panther against newbies is no fun at all no matter how you put it.
first players experience is everything for the survival of the game. and it’s more imporant than few individuals that like a challenge.
( which again, eventually, if custom matches allow that, then i’m fine ).
but it’s needed a " ground base " for everyone. not let them on loose like currently.
it’s better to restrict them from equipment than account. like, they still have others campaigns.
No, because there will be more tanks. I can similarly say that the Germans don’t get P47s and get a broken fw-190, which will eventually result in the Axis not being able to get as good planes as the Allies.
Then the Pz4 needs better projectiles, because the jumbo will hit them anywhere and they don’t.
Also the Axis needs good planes like the P47.

Are you suggesting that a beginner should guess and learn to aim at 2 pixels? No, he shouldn’t. It’s an incredibly difficult task, especially if the jumbo isn’t an idiot and doesn’t stand still for 10 minutes.
A beginner will never beat a jumbo on a puma because he doesn’t know where or how to shoot, and the jumbo punches him with every shot.

I shot five or six times on the green indicator And didn’t punch in… The machine gun port is glitchy, the actual penetration area is much smaller than the green indicator shows, so I’m right.
The panther has a machine gun port, shoot there or go around. A beginner by your logic can guess.
