thats okay, anyway good suggestion
no problem it was just to point it out and avoid problems later
Please make it a cool costume.
What I don’t like about this game is that the default attire for the US Army is not cool at all.
Look at this, it is so poor.
That is, the pants and shirts are probably historically accurate, but they don’t wear any kind of ammo pouches. Where on earth do they get their spare ammo from?
This guy looks like someone who attended his first airsoft game today and couldn’t afford to spend money on clothes!
Look at this. Their attire should have been like this.
Only the paid costumes had ammo pouches…
Those who do not pay are forced to play in crappy outfits. This is exactly what is wrong with microtransaction games!
I had no choice but to buy additional costumes for every soldier in the US Army just for the Ammo Pouch. I didn’t just complain, I paid for it properly. I bought clothes for all members of the 7 infantry squads I normally use.
But you say that the new version changes the clothes for each region, such as France and the Pacific. That’s fine, but we can’t afford to buy another 50 or 100 new outfits.
I would like to hold my breath on your statement that there will be default costumes so I don’t have to buy new clothes, but I am very worried because the current default costumes are not cool.
Please make the default costumes for all armies historically accurate and clothes that you feel cool just looking at them!
Looks amazing!
the only thing I personally don’t like is the idea of treating Italy and Britain as two sub-nations…
I proposed the same idea, to make VG2, Mp3008 and stuff like that instantly unlocked like we have them now for Berlin campaign, and available on Berlin maps for everyone.
It’s not like those are OP weapons which will break the balance.
I suddenly found another idea: plase them randomly in some locations (generally defence locations) on Berlin and some other late war maps, like how the Japanese impact mines are placed in the pacific campaign. And players can pick them up for free, usually when their main weapon runs out of ammo, or sniper try to engage close range targets.
Well I mean it would make complete sense to instantly unlock some weapons for all maps/campaigns after the merge so that a completely new player could play all the maps:
VG2 and MP 3008 for Berlin; MP-28 for Tunisia and Moscow; MP-34(o) for Normandy – just like we now get the “starter weapons” for free already unlocked.
Hm the new system sounds like if I have a favorite loadout for my troups, I will never again see some maps because of the weapon restrictions. Sounds like a really bad system to be honest.
I feel exactly the same. After spent so much time and money on the game for me is sad that this decision will make the game a bit less realistic (because the wrong squads/weapons on some maps) and also less fun because or you need to all the time do tons of work to customize your squads to see diferent maps or you end playing on the same locations (thats boring and not fun any more).
Sorry, I’m a bit confused about this in the New Meta Q&A:
“We also remind you that owners of the Battle of Stalingrad: Full Access and the Pacific War: Special Landing Forces pack must level up their specific campaign before the major update if they want to obtain their weapons, soldiers and vehicles at the pre-maximum rank.”
I bought both the Stalingrad Full Access pack AND Pacific War: Special Landing Forces pack. I have completely leveled up both the Axis and Allied factions in the Stalingrad campaign – but not in the Pacific. So if I don’t level up the US and Japanese factions before the major update, how can I lose the soldiers, weapons and vehicles at the pre-maximum ranks if they were PREMIUM squads and vehicles (already at maximum rank) when I bought them. Please clarify.
Has any mention at all been made for all the Italian and British equipment currently in Tunisia? Will it be converted to American and German gear? Or will it exist alongside it? Should I for example buy 30 axes in Tunisia now because I prefer the way it looks over the German axe? Likewise with their various pouches.
I asked you the other day about the matchmaking…I’ll repost here again case you did not see.
Hey, I do have a concern I’d like to bring up. I feel you are the one who can shed light on this better than anyone.
While I do believe the new matchmaking-based BR and development trees are positive changes to the game, I do not believe restricting control of the maps we play in is an entirely good thing. For example, there are players who do not enjoy playing Berlin, or Normandy, whereas they enjoy playing Moscow more, for instance. Forcing them to play on maps they don’t enjoy, on top of the heavier hand on “desertions” doesn’t seem like a good idea, forcing people to play on maps they don’t enjoy seems to be in contradiction of why we play the game, to begin with, to have fun.
Are there any plans or talks of a feature to allow the players to pick the maps they want to play in? Or will it be subject to change?
This question of mine is still unanswered.
How will it try to find a suitable battle?
Does every campaign/map now have certain preferable BR bracket?
Does this mean we can set MKB-42 to 0.1 BR higher than Stalingrad and never see it there? (it wasn’t serially produced until after Stalingrad)
Can we get something like a slider in the settings for MM time vs Realism?
So that everyone can adjust what is more valuable for them? (e.g. I can wait 5+ minutes for a proper match, because I don’t need a random ahistorical match anyway)
Nice idea, but these “realism factor” may be a little difficult to implement. For now may be an option of “Force Historical Accuracy Constraint” is enough, so that turns soft constraint for default setting into hard constraint for players ticked that option, so while others be thrown into random match when exceeded certain time of queuing, you will continue wait until a more historical accurate match is generated.
You would only need to change the weapon of 1-2 soldiers to switch to a higher rating if desired.
That’s kind of what I mean: choosing between Fast MM or Reaslistic MM.
All players are in the same pool so no one is lost to the MM, just some players will/might voluntarily wait longer.
Humm the Tunisia premium flamethrower squad look so much better now that merge will be a thing…
I dont think if everyone who like flamethrowers think the same be sure, the BR range of the flamethrowers make all battle look like a BBQ contest because everyone can spam at lest 3 squad in cycle
Then you bring your own flamethrowers AND ITS BARBEQUE GALORE I LOVE IT.
But yes, they get annoying, what’s the solution you might ask? Easy! Fight fire with fire, literally.
Also if there are players voluntary waiting in the queue for longer, it may actually help other default MM users find match quicker because they are more likely to join existing queue.
